Lunar Awakening Rewards BROKEN

I was online when the Lunar Awakening event started, and went to knock it all out.
The rewards/bags given for each step all contain at least one
[Ancestors ___ Kurast Undercity Tribute] Cache.

The issue is that they all are linked to a Quest, stating “Complete the Undercity:Sihek priority quest to unlock”. I’ve been playing for a few years now and have all quests unlocked, and have full access to Undercity. I’ve even gotten this season’s Andariel [Divine Gifts] all maxed out.

Aside from that, this is turning to a really annoying trend where changes keep getting made with updates and seasons with no apparent care for what they break moving forward. A quick to mind example and somewhat attached to this Shrine Event is the Challenge [Nahantu Shrine Masters], where Conduit Shrines are no longer clearing the Challenge, let alone popping up in the regular game outside of the event. Then there is the multiple cosmetics will not unlock, etc., etc. These forums are filled with others that don’t seem to be getting any real traction.

I’ve said this prior and I’ll repeat it: How can you keep asking people to purchase new DLC when the Quality Assurance with each update is so lacking? I’m worried what you’re going to break next…

Well, the forum is getting drowned in complaints about that. i have the exact same issue and i KNOW for certain i have done this quest as soon it was available since i checked it online and remember it doing it last year god darned it blizzard. Turn your brains on…

Just adding my name to the enormous list that started due to the lunar undercity reward cache being locked for a quest pretty sure already completed. Been running undercity a ton this season alone and goblin event undercity caches opened just fine so hoping this gets patched soon. Thank y’all for your time.:heart_hands::folded_hands:

PS: been having lots of fun playing pally this season and looking forward to running amuck as warlock when Lord of Hatred starts😈

Hello,

I am experiencing a progression issue with the Lunar Awakening event (Season 11) on PC. Half event reward caches are blocked with the message:

“Complete the Undercity: Sihek priority quest to unlock.”

I already have full access to Undercity, all quests unlocked, and all Andariel Divine Gifts maxed for this season. The quest never appears in my journal, and Sihek does not offer any dialogue. Despite restarting the game and changing World Tier, the caches remain locked.

When is the Kurast bug going to be fixed??? It is a know issue and still broken.

This is pathetic how do you not have the quests completed, since this is a seasonal character that has already finished this during the campaign.

How was this missed in the QC portion of the test before going live??

I just know will are asking questions that no one will answer, does anyone at Blizzard

even read these??

Ran into this issue as well, tried all the suggestions I could find like;

  1. Dropping and re-picking the chest up.
  2. Talking to Sihek again (lots of other players present there too, so this is definitely widespread).
  3. Using shared stash to try again on another character that also completed this quest.

Honestly, after watching the 30th Anniversary cast, it is all polished from a marketing standpoint, but there are still so many bugs they haven’t fixed since season 1 that are similar to this.

I remember having to start a whole new character inside Eternal and play the full campaign to get the last 4 skill points because there was a bug.

Just play Seasonal and treat the game as ephemeral with no importance, it is a beta being run as a finished product.

now waiting for a patch, fortunately have some slots free…

I just ran the Unique tribute of the undercity and it had resolved the issue of not being able to open boxes. Hope it helps you too.
