I bought the standard edition of Lord of Hatred on Xbox series x. The store says I own it. I’ve received an email receipt for it. My Microsoft account lists the purchase as completed. Attempting to manage the add-on (as in download it) brings up the message “check back in a little bit. We’re having trouble getting your stuff right now”… When I log into the game, it’s updated to Vessel of Hatred (as I never bought that originally), and the Spiritborn and Paladin classes are selectable. So my Xbox itself can’t authenticate the purchase with Blizzard, but the game itself uses different authentication methods I’ve heard, so I can still play… I’ve troubleshooted the issue with Microsoft, and have been assured the issue is with the Blizzard servers that my Xbox is talking to. With other games where I’ve purchased an expansion, there was always something to download, and the console displayed the add-on’s separately. Does it work differently with Diablo IV as it’s a live service game? Is the problem purely a cosmetic UI bug because my Xbox can’t authenticate with Blizzard’s servers? Please advise…
