Loot Filters lack basic "NOT" functinality

Loot Filters feel unnecessarily limited :slightly_frowning_face:

Loot Filters are unnecessarily heavily restricted, and many basic things cannot be configured.

For example, some basic functionality is missing, like adding a simple “NOT” condition, which would allow many reverse-type filters. For example, we have options like “Has Affixes” or “Is an Item”, etc. - but we do not have options like “Does NOT have Affixes” or “Is not an Item”.

This would make it possible to build many conditions that are currently impossible, even though they would often be useful. For example, I could set a condition where if an item does not have “+ to Strength”, it gets marked as gray. Right now, it is not even possible to create a workaround for this because of the 15 affix selection limit.

In the current expansion, yellow items have also become important, and they can have, for example, 3 or 4 affixes. There should be an option to create a filter that checks how many affixes an item has. Right now, we can only check for Greater Affixes, but unfortunately regular affixes cannot be counted.

Maybe for veteran players these things are not that important, but for newer players who do not yet know exactly what they are looking for, but do know what they do not like, adding a logical NOT would be great.

Personally, I cannot set up most of the conditions I would like to use.

Two simple examples:

  • Mark all items with less than 4 affixes as gray

  • Mark all items with “Poison Resistance” as gray

I hope someone sees this post and adds these simple functionalities.

The filter definitely feels limited, but it can only get better from here on out.

It’s best to start noting any reasonable improvements and post them once the chaos of the first few weeks after launch has subsided. (The priority now is not to make improvements, but to repair what is broken.)

Personally, I would like to change the color of the gems and be able to filter by the (raw) amount of stats.

I was surprised to see that non-gear items are just not in the filter. I was specifically wanting to recolor yellow boss trophies, before I had the mats to justify hiding normal rares.
