Hi everyone,
I am writing this out of pure frustration as I have been stuck in a “support ping-pong” between Microsoft and Blizzard for over two months regarding my purchase of the Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred Ultimate Edition on Xbox.
I purchased the Ultimate Edition in the Xbox Store. While the in-game shop marks the Ultimate version as “Owned,” the actual content is not fully accessible. Specifically, the Standard and Deluxe versions remain “unlocked” (buyable), and I am missing the full functionality I paid for.
Blizzard Support acknowledged that this is a “known issue.” However, no fix has been provided for two months, and no compensation or manual entitlement has been offered.
Xbox/Microsoft Support claims the publisher (Blizzard) is responsible for the license delivery. My refund request was denied because the system sees the product as “delivered,” even though it is broken.
I have already tried power-cycling the console, removing/re-adding my profile, and reinstalling the game. Nothing works. I am a loyal player, but being told “we know it’s broken” for 60 days without any progress or a refund is unacceptable. I am essentially locked out of a premium product I paid for.
Can a Community Manager or Developer please look into the license synchronization for this account? I just want to play the content I purchased.
