I am legitimately struggling to see any kind of direction with these changes or a cohesive approach. They also claim they’ve been monitoring feedback but none of the major concerns we’ve raised appear to have been addressed.

Edit: Link to the full patch notes but make sure to take an aspirin before you read through them, it will help with the headache that is sure to follow.

No touch on Hydra pretty much confirms my worst fears that it’s going to take like two years before they slowly walk back the totally unnecessary beta nerfs.

Yeah I am using Hydra in my build just because I’ve always loved that spell and I was also upset to see no changes.

But the thing that really kills me is that they clearly looked at the Uniques but didn’t do anything to change the freaking Fireball gloves, like how!?? I am… flabbergasted!

Is there a link to the patch notes?

If these were the “big buffs” coming I’m very disappointed.

When they were buffer they were 100% busted

Keep in mind that minor buffs to base damages can significantly increase damage once buffs/multipliers are applied.

minor buffs to skills nobody uses are not buffs at all

Yeah I’m wondering if Frozen Orb is useable now, but not sure the buff was enough. A Blizzard/FO build could be interesting if the damage is there.

Even though they failed us… im just glad they didnt nerf hydra even more than its current state. A buff to how it was in beta, or even to half of what it was in beta would be wonderful… all we can do is fantasize :pensive:

What was left besides making it attack you?

I honestly wouldnt be surprised if they implemented that sadly

I was so excited to look at patch notes and find new build variety to play with. This was pretty disappointing. The miniscule buff to Incinerate feels bad.

Disappointing.

Hydra / Chainlightning not even mentioned in the patchnotes, lul…

Don’t know why but my sorc feels even weaker than before the patch…

Will roll Necro on season 1.

This fundamentally changes nothing but on the bright side their attempt of “making things more equal” at least managed to avoid nerfing anything which I view as a positive.

Yeah it suxc so hard, that defence and mana regg is binded to defence skill, and even staggering (mini stun from enchantment) works best with defence skills.

They have simply to much interactions and power all over the skill tree on defence skills, that you will slot all four skills.
