Lightning Sorcerers' stun / Convulsions

Thanks all - I’m not struggling. I am using Grigore’s as a main and will make it my secondary when I switch to Lilith’s whenever I’m able to down her.

I was just trying to verify that there is a range of abilities and paragon nodes that apply to stuns, which are no longer a passive in lightning builds.

Yes? But then they should have doubled the damage of all skills. Previously, these skills were considered mandatory CC, but now they lose most of their effectiveness. Although judging by observations, stunning and convulsions sometimes work on regular mobs, but bosses are not stunned at all.

This is the right answer. And yes op, you are right that the sorc paragon boards were not optimized to reflect this recent design change. Simply, the devs have done a poor, lazy job.

They spoke to FoF change in the ptr campfire chat and whilst it explained incidental cc having to go I’m not recalling that there was a compelling justification for it. We see later worldly fortune change too.

Seems this impacts builds worked around that cc. Hope they can still find their feet or it’s more work for Blizz to do bringing back up lower outliers.

Would be nice if when changing things they had a model that popped up flags where it broke builds and they could at least consider if there’s a pathway to remedy them. Like having their head around all the interactions.
