Yes stats like this is completely useless (maybe with some exception for temerity) now.
But real problem is not with these stats, it is much deeper.
Sustain should work like one variation of DEF stats. But right now we have just two state:
I am immortal vs I am dead after one blow = bcs of that sustain is irrelevant.
They should solve balance to add much more threats at lower diff and much less threats at highter diff. So we can profit from sustatin.
In other games I always preffer sustaion over flat def stats. But curretnly only barrier work like that.

Yes, because after sinking 100s hours into the season 4, and having a full stash tab of 2-3GA items, of which every single one has +hp on hit and +life per second or +poison resist, I am super excited for this high quality endgame loot that has about zero use in any build out there.
You may not know but loot in this game is class oriented, I.e. sorc does not get rings drop with +strength or +dexterity, only int.
For which class +hp on hit and +hp per second is oriented we just donāt know. I am not aware of any even semi bad build using it.
The idea of loot reborn patch the whole time, was to remove all useless affixes from gear, and make the loot more rare dropping. They made it rare dropping, but you still got such a huge bunch of useless affixes, that your chances of finding a 2-3GA item you need is less than 0.01% in 100s of hours.
People would be able to make use of both of those stats a lot more if they were percentage based instead of abysmally small flat values that never scale.
Sustain works well in last epoch, they generate shield from DPS (aka lifesteal but on excess HP) that shield absorbs incoming dmg, and it is a question between your defenses/shield generation vs enemy dps.
I have it (life per sec) on a couple items together itās about 600/per sec. I donāt know if it really helps now that my HP is 59k but I can see it move the level when Iām not taking damage. I also have some life on hit, canāt remember how much, when Iām using WW it seems to help. I donāt think either is the difference between life or death, then again it could be at times.
life on hit should be % based or be removed life regen should be % based.

Why? May I kindly ask what is you HP pool? How lets say 100 LPH (if you have 3GA on 3 items) help you?
The point, you willingly seemed to have missed, is that allot of us are tired of those affixes constantly rolling⦠Itās really ANNOYING when one or more of the rolls has a much higher chance of landing than the rest.
So by your logic, since we all seem to constantly be getting those two affixes, we should just all run temerity, every one in the game, problem solved right?

These people are either insane in their iq deviations or trolling to cause a negative reaction from other players.
The thing is affixes are not random, they are weighted. You can see that a focus on a mage 1GA with CDR starts pricing at 1billion, honestly, I spent 100k+ obols to find it and I did not, I had 100s of Ga focuses, none with CDR.
Life on hit, life per second e.t.c are actually quite common, and what is worse when you get 3GA item, there is an extremely high chance that it gets one of those common useless affixes. So you expect to see something valuable and you get Junk.
3GA items are already extremely rare, why ruin the drops with useless nobody uses affixes? You may not see a 3GA drop in 10+ hours of gameplay even once.
It was great when I was leveling, and that alone warrants its existence.
The problem is not the existence of the affix, but the āweighted diceā of how often these affixes appears.
That does not make any sense, just move your life on hit and life per second to tempering and roll it on your gear yourself if you need it, why have greater affix so useless?

Fair point, yet I would gladly miss some minor help at 6 hour period of exping for possibility to not ruin half of my GA item with useless affix in hundreds hours of late game.
There is already a lot of RND is getting the right affixes with tempering. It should at least be possible to get the 3 initial good ones with a decent probability while farming. My experience so far is that some are nearly impossible to get. I am not even asking for GA. Loot Reborn was supposed to give us more control on our gear but it just became a lot more complicated when compared to previous seasons.

As signified by the fact that whoever opens the pit gets 100% crafting materials, and everyone else gets 50% of the same materials.

Like you said, there was a very heavy emphasis on social/group play from the first minute of the game, but then this happens.
The only half-cooked explanation I could come up with was to avoid boosting, but with trading now effectively enabled and countless other mechanics you can use to make the game easier, this makes no sense to me at all.
You are nuts, it takes less than 10 hours to level up from 1 to 100, the game only starts when you hit WT4 realm.
You dont see GA affixes drop much if any before that.
