Leveling Progression Way Too Fast!

you really want to be running the same helltides with the same monsters just to fill your exp meter for longer?

most play these games for the loot progression and endgame activities not “the journey” what the **** that means? go play Dark Souls if you want a slow, journey sloggfest

Go play a cookie clicker if you only want progression?

Sure would be nice if there was more to do than Helltides. In general, make it efficient to farm materials etc. from other activities while you lvl up, so you are better off at high lvl if you did mixed content than if you just did one thing over and over.

They seem to be failing on purpose. Flavor of the month balancing.
It is quite sad.

Really? how about YOU go play something else.

WoW is perfect for you, exactly what you want, loot progression after getting your character to max level, you can even pay Blizzard so you don’t have to do the leveling part you hate oh so much, even better go play FF14, it can be done solo now, don’t even need to play with other people.

Let D4 be what is what meant to be, back to the original style of ARPG, with increasing difficulties and better loot. Getting Loot and Leveling were something that went hand in hand.

1 build only is boring in 2024. We aren’t 1990s anymore

I definitely agree (well, except that it was no different in the 1990s).
But 20 characters? Every 3 months. Eh.

Also, a build exists before lvl 100 too. Reaching max lvl is not needed for making a build.

It’s so fast it’s like super duper fast! We’re gonna be like 100 in like 10 minutes man and it’s not right! IT’S NOT RIGHT!

sorry I had too much caffeine

Leveling still takes me forever so there is that. I mean I am level 67 with 19 hours in.

Omg don’t even look at me! That’s just so offensive!

nah i will play diablo 4 where i get fun leveling and good progressions with loot that is enjoyable as well.

guess you will have to find a different game. because you are in the minority, most are saying this patch might have saved diablo 4.

The simple answer is there are a lot more casual players than people realize. These players dont play 10+ hours a day like hardcore players do. They might play that a week. It was a slog from 70ish to 100 in the past. Blizzard has these metrics that you don’t. They can see when the majority quit the game. Fact is that most people probably never even hit 100. They probably didn’t even get close.

Agreed. Scaling isn’t the best right now and level progression can be misleading when you level too fast.

Blizzard, please don’t listen to this guy. There’s ways for him to slow down the leveling process. Keep progression where it is. If he wants the journey, there’s the campaign and then he can take as much time as he wants to level.

Fully agree. My only issue with this patch is the leveling speed is nuts. Right now if you optimize you can hit 100 in less than 20 hours easy. I say maybe roughly 25-30 hours to hit a 100 would be a better pace.

I agree! Especially using high end Sigils the jump from 90-100 doesn’t take long. It should be a crawl… we already have amazing gear, let’s slow the pace and really get a sense of accomplishment!!!

Yep, i just hit 100 tonight casually playing 2.5 hours a day. Id say it was 11-12 hours.

I think you’re right, but the leveling is so boring people would quit at lvl 70-80 before reaching max level.

this game is basically a slower playing better graphics d3. its never going to be like d2. that ship sailed a long time ago.

it’s too fast, were too strong, and armor cap is too low.

weird state of the game.

decent crafting now though. a bit more fun, until you learn that your armor is a few Ks above cap without even trying and the whole thing is pretty silly lol

at least make it obvious in-game if a cap is reached. let the player know instead of watching them shoot themselves in the foot without saying anything.
You know… like diablo1 did when you reached 255 in a main stat (number became golden).

resists change color when cap is reached, do the same for the other stats. or better yet… remove caps and let ppl play how they want to play :stuck_out_tongue:

tl;dr dont get over 9230 armor even if nothing tells you that in the game.

I would agree to a certain extent… Leveling 99-100 took a few minutes. That’s wack.

Go play D2 then. The leveling is fine.
