Or d2 was just the better game and you are looking for excuses here. D4 is just not that great. It’s not terrible either. It’s just… mediocre.

Magic Find on gear is bad. Magic Find as a reward for doing certain things is fine.

Picking up gold. Yeah, how it should be. Better though; most gold should come from vendoring items. Gold pretty much shouldnt drop or be rewarded on its own. Higher quality items should then vendor for much more than lower ones. Finding another unique or 3GA item you already had? Well, at least they give a nice gold boost. Making finding items more relevant again.

Replayed D2R for the first time in a good while recently. Probably played it more than I have done in at least 15 years. Even with its big list of flaws, it does hold up to a surprising degree. No nostalgia is needed.

D2 is deeply flawed in many ways (Boss runs being one of those flaws for sure). But the game still holds up. It is not the best A-RPG around, but it is in the top, and yeah, ahead of D4 right now.

Uniques are common in D4. Very. So I wonder if that’s what is wrong

Levels 1–60 are fun because of the stat squish—simple numbers, easy-to-follow combat. I’ll give Blizzard credit for that. But once you hit the endgame, your power skyrockets to ridiculous levels, even worse than in previous seasons. The power gap becomes massive. This is what happens when Blizzard tries to cater to both casual players and streamers—two completely opposite extremes with nothing in between.

Yeah, the absurdity of the power scaling is a big part of what is wrong with D4.

The endgame IS Just boring. Screen IS rolled with worthless enemies.

But the Trick worked. I didnt wanted to buy VoH. But the gameplay after stat squish Till 60 was honestly great. So i bought VoH 3 weeks after Release. I did Not Like the seasons Themen so i pcked my LV 200 barb and started directly in VoH.

ITS so boring. I See a Lot of new enemies assets. But i do Not know what they do. They all Just die. Zero mechanics.

Also what bothers me IS that in D3 you realy learned how to dead with enemies stats Like Inferno, Blocker, Commando and arkan etc. Those mechanics where Essential. In D4 enemies also have Magic traits but they all mean norhing except the purple glowing ones

D4 hast given away all personality. Sacrigiced to throw thousands of worthless enemies at the Player.

THE PROBLEM IS OBVIOUS,WHY NOT FIX THE LAG FIRST BEFORE ADDING USELESS THINGS. HOW CAN WE ENJOY THE GAME IF ITS UNPLAYABLE BECAUSE OF LAG!

Im the opposite. I hate leveling so much, and enjoy the end game so far. Ive only played about 50 hours this season, so im sure it will get old pretty soon, but ive enjoyed paragon 80 to 2…08?, whatever im at, a lot.
