I was hoping this will be a thing when they said D4 will have season quest lines. They could expand the Diablo universe by a lot. I feel like the main focus was on skins… even Voh was cut short , feels like it was cut from the main game since we did not really get closer to a Prime Evil.
Man how I wish a season would add Mephisto.
Not going to happen , they have to milk it. So maybe next expanion , if we ever get that at all.

I present 3 that are truly remarkable. That would improve the game in every single way. I am purposely avoiding the easy answers here that are obvious like prevent dupes, fix bugs, class balance ect. We should not have to make a post for those. Those should already be sacred.
1] Embrace rarity system in everything. Events, chests, cellars, shrines, goblins, harvest nodes, helltides, ect everything. Chance for cool stuff is why ppl play this game. How cool would it be to have a mythical rare cellar, or unique helltide with different rules (maybe u keep cinders when it ends???, or legendary shrine that lasts 4x as long.)
2] Multiplicative is gone and then a complete redesign of aspect system and paragon system and skill system happens. Too much of the game are just ppl finding multiplicative stats. Remove multiplicative from the game and have the power of the skills set at a higher base level to begin with like already having multiplicative aspects and then make aspects just game changing cool and fun. This makes the entire game much easier to balance. 2 examples for sorc with number values of Z so we dont have to talk about balance!:
Aspect of Frozen Stars: Your meteor is now cold damage and has a Z% lucky hit chance to trigger a Blizzard when it freezes an enemy instead of burning the ground. Wizard Meteor can freeze enemies instead of immobilze.
Aspect of the One Eyed Serpent: Your hydra changes to whatever element you have the most of on your hotbar and gains 1 head for each skill of that element on your hotbar. It stays fire if there is a tie. Hydras gain Z% lucky hit chance
Summon Hydra Fire - Lucky hit hydra casts firewall at your firewall level.
Summoned Hydra Cold - Lucky hit hydra casts ice shards at your ice shard level.
Summoned Hydra Lightning - Lucky hit hydra casts chain lightning at your chain lighting level.
3] Legacy items dont exist. All items update to the current version. This helps eternal health. You get a nice 4 GA item with good main stat and you dont have to worry about it being ruined.
Honorable mention for expansions: Meaningful choices in campaigns. Get us involved!
What you posted would re1quire a lot of effort from blizz side, since is a lot of reworks.
They will not do it. Thya havent in more than a year
as someone already said: make other things than the pit matter. currently lategame is pit only which is super boring. infernal hordes at least gave variety and choices
There need to be more things to strive for once you reach endgame. You will need to add more activities as such. We are 6 about to be 7 seasons in do you think many many seasons from now the current list of activities will be enough? Do you think your seasonal mechanics will carry the seasons?
I would like to see this game respect players by shutting down and sacking all the relevant
devs , so the remaining carcass can serve a better purpose as e-waste in the ethernet
I want them to stop doing seasons until they make the core game interesting to play and replay.
fix some issues with core classes and such sooner than later, after S7 perhaps delay and extend 7 until such things are fixed. Other than that I like where we are heading and the game is looking fun and fresh imo, and we have qol coming and I have noticed upgrades and little things here and there which is nice, so more of that and improving the game as we go along and enjoy killing monsters with out builds.

I would very much like to be able to play the game without crashing randomly every few minutes.
I would also like a lot less grinding for more viable rewards, like in S5, when I made 4 chars and had a blast with all of them, playing every day until the last moment before this travesty of DLC was released.
IMO a lot of problems would be solved if Blizz would let us play SSF mode. That would please all, I think.
- Class Balance + make more viable build.
- Basic QoL like loot filter/proper stashes etc.
- Scaling in every content and also scaling for rewards accordingly.
I’ve seen a lot of posts recently about the game’s end-game, or lack thereof. However, nobody has made any suggestions about what KIND of end-game they want. You can’t just say you want “meaningful end-game” and expect anyone to get it. Example and descriptions are needed. The devs aren’t mind readers, after all.
Another interesting thing to consider is that D1 and D2 didn’t have any to speak of, and people still play D2. So, we need to define what we want. Is it more group-oriented, difficult content? Something class based, like a personal end-game, where you reach the pinnacle of your class story? More open world bosses?
To make matters worse, everyone has their own idea on what constitutes end-game content. Whose ideas do they use? Group content might alienate the solo players. Solo content might bore the group players to tears. Anything in between would seem incomplete and weak to both. Either not hard enough or too hard.
I don’t have the answer, I’m just thinking out loud.
They don’t care if you play the game, they make no money from you playing the actual game.
They want you to log in at least once per season buy the battle pass and maybe a cosmetic before quitting again.
id like to see half the team fired an rob removed. as they clearly dont know how to run a game IP if they have to ask us what we want.
they should be competent enough to see the path-like games that are out there and what works and what doesnt.
