Leap and Giant Strides in 2.0

So it takes heavy Masterworking, a Max Aspect, +Brawling Skills anywhere you can, stuff like Rage of Harrogath and a Mythic Helmet (Shako) JUST to have Leap even possibly be used as a Primary Damage Skill (which is is pretty bad) and being able to spam Leap as a Support Skill is hardly game breaking. So you can keep Berserking up, generate some Fury, and get a Weapon Swap?

They could literally take off the CD on any non-Ultimate Skills (and Iron Maelstrom Ult) and I am not convinced it would really be that overpowered…

Need cooldown reduction everywhere. Rings, amulet, boots. Leap by itself isn’t going to do anything. It’s just an enabler. I’m messing with bunny hop. See if I can push out more damage.

Giant Strides should replace evade with Leap, remove the cooldown, and make it cost 10 fury.

Leap is great on PTR. No downtime. Cooldown are easy. im doing

  1. leap
  2. Wrath of the zerker
  3. challenge shout
  4. iron skin
  5. War Cry
  6. Stomp

no primary/core/weapon attacks, just movement and defense

with the earthquake rune you dont need cota anymore, they are kinda useless. there’s a rune that expends all your fury so that fuels Wotb

just did a ptr pit 89 with it. thats like pit 180 on live. still climbing

Mighty Throw can generate barrier. Far more reliable than Iron skin.

Edit: Nevermind. Seems Leap with Ravenous is buggy with Mighty Throw. Might be something to do with Leap being in the air.

Hey, since you’re testing this build out on the PTR (ps5 player here), would you mind trying out the Vortex rune? Still haven’t seen this thing in action and if the pull is good it could do a lot towards fixing leap’s knockback.

Wildbolt aspect is very good for wrangling the pulls together. the vortex thing is kinda mid

Vortex offering is 500. At best you have to use Leap 10 just to activate Vortex.

Your comment had me go test Wildbolt again and it is much more decent than I thought, especially since boot aspect options are not that great anyway. It’s a shame about Vortex. I’ll still test it eventually because any amount of AoE pull seems like it would be good, but will probably stick to just pushing mobs into walls and corners to minimize the knockback.
