Announced resets and the eternal realm when d3 seasons first started too. Still did not reset first season, D2R did reset first season but it was not a month after release either was 7 months after the game released.
And honestly do not remember the OG d2 first season forget if it reset or not. In uncharted waters here. Has never been seasons in a diablo game EVER anywhere near release.
