AMD Radeon RX 7600 here, started getting the black screen last season even before upgrading my graphics card. This season it seem much worse, all drivers are up to date.
Disappointing to see no progress when there are so many that can easily reproduce the bug by just playing in a party, do some gaming and teleport to a town waypoint, happens at least ever couple teleports, so maybe every half hour of gameplay.
Game is unplayable for sure, having to close and open it again every 5 ~ 10 teleports and losing all my buffs is driving me crazy actually. I might hurt someone very “soon™” .
oooh… our first 7800xt this season… do you have SmartAccessMemory enabled in your AMD Adrenaline Software Studio? (genuinely curious because I’m on a 7900xt and was making a list when I got to the bottom and threw it all away)
This is unacceptable. This AAA game was destroyed for many of us since the expansion release. Then blizzard PROMISED in other thread that they will fix this (in January) so people don’t refund. Now, we can’t play and we also cannot refund a game that they broke but promised to fix. They don’t care even about EU consumer law since they know that single human being cannot take them to the court. This is absurd. I think that they will do fix this ONLY if a huge youtube person brings this topic up, otherwise they don’t give a damn

I wonder what this mentioned adjustment is, but I doubt it works
I tried that route before and got the same runaround. Useless links, unhelpful comments, and telling me to come to the boards they’ve ignored and still haven’t fixed the issue on… super helpful Blizz.
On the other thread someone recomennded using BES (Battle Encoder Shirasé) and limiting D4.exe by 10%. I tried this and I am playing 2h now without disconnect
Looking at the log i found something new - at least for me.
prior to every TP-Crash there are the following lines, at least 10 to 15 each, one after another
UIInventory: missing currency slot for currency type: 71
Unable to get client inventory data because user ID -1 is not valid

So we know it black screens when you teleport from instanced content to a town…
What if you used the “Leave Dungeon” instead to return to the over world…
Do you get a black screen doing this?
And a follow up… can you teleport from anywhere on the over world to anywhere else on the over world with out black screens?
