Lol…you mean, can he test your game? So the truth yields itself in the most innocent of ways.
The server team will have all the metrics needed.

And so the ripping of the new CM begins.
I had the same visceral reaction… but you gotta understand this is just a CM who is trying to engage and be helpful. It’s highly likely they already have a lot of this information, but more/redundant information is never a bad thing and at the end of the day they’re just trying to help.
It’s probably not a good idea to wail about the lack of a messenger for weeks and then shoot the first one that shows up.
Indeed. Not a good look for us either, wanting someone to communicate with us but then immediately turning on them when they do.
Asking people to playtest your game and reproduce an issue that multiple people are reporting - isn’t communication. A $65B USD company - should have the ability to test these things themselves, in fact, they should be tested before they’re put into production for paying customers.
Transitioning in open world is pretty bad everywhere. If your doing nm chain runs you dont really notice any lag cause you never leave town.
Alpha, beta, early access and first few weeks was not like this.
Thanks for providing actual feedback.
I think there’s no mystery where and when this occurs.
World boss - before it spawns i’m sitting at a comfortable 40-50ms ping with multiple people around me.
World boss spawns - 1200 ping. This is especially concerning because I play hardcore.
smh
People are just hostile for no reason.
You can’t just say “i am getting lag spikes” or whatever. Anyone would need more information. It’s just common sense.
Right - because if hundreds of people are experiencing/reporting it - there’s no possible way for a $65B USD company to confirm or deny this right?
We’re the paying customer. We’re not the tester base. We paid for a product, and we expect it to work.
I don’t have screenshots or video, but every time it happens for me, taskmanager shows huge spikes across the network. More than I’ve seen in any other games I play.
damn the lag got worse for me today, unbearable.
In the middle of helltide had to just quit wasting cinders.
Actually, coming from a network management team. Logs on switches and routers provide a lot of information that can be used to troubleshoot that without bothering the customer. Secondly, the server teams have equally valuable logs that can help troubleshoot the issue if it is server side and not a network issue. This is an ongoing issue that has been around since launch, this has probably been posted 100’s of times.
Are you ever productive or do you just try to initiate arguments with everybody?
That’s all I see from you.
We’re literally in a discussion about lag - and a player who is experiencing it.
This is your addition to the thread:
“Thanks for providing actual feedback.”
My feedback is valuable. Blizzard should look into this. What is your feedback?
Your “feedback” consists of “you’re a multi-billionaire company, figure it out.”
Yeah, very nice “feedback”.
To be fair if you buy something even if it has a recall you are required to return it back to the place of purchase and explain whats wrong.
This isn’t even a semi polished version…. Even after 2-3 months post launch.
Someone doesn’t know how feedback works.
Pot calling the kettle black?
If that’s how you want to rationalize your behavior, alright then.
