Kichuk is bugged - Slay Kirma step mob despawns midfight

I had this bug in the stronghold. I just took an intentional death and it reset and I was able to complete it. Obviously this won’t work on hardcore.

Same Can’t “escape” the cave to complete the stronghold. My game dced during the stronghold and bugged it out and now I cant finish the quest.

Same thing happened for me, Torment I difficulty. Exited and came backa nd did the whole thing a second time and it finished, though the boss did disappear for a few seconds at the same first tick down, but did eventually come back

First time i did it, it was bugged. I left the game and rejoined. Tried it again and it worked.

This is it right here. You have to fight Kirma in the middle of the area (Where the body is being sacrificed) so that the mobs can spawn around.

Kichuk despawned once for me as well. I had to relog and run the Stronghold again.

I’m not sure if it was the reason for success, but I kept the fight to middle of the arena as suggested and completed it easily the second time. Annoying bug.

Had a similar issue where I was at step “Slay Kirma” and he got stuck in the transition animation. Had to go back to main menu and then re-do the quest

same here on difficulty hard (2 tries)… moving to normal fixed it for me

Yes, Kirchuk is bugged. This is my third time restarting the fight and at some point Kirchuk leaves fight and does not come back and you can not leave the area and forced to exit game.

That is not a fix, its a work around at best.

I also have this bug. Hopefully Blizz can make the game work as intended on first thing Monday :crossed_fingers:

You can kill it but only from the middle, don tit right now on Expert

Exact same problem, which is also enough to cause me to just quit playing this game, as it’s not the only bug I’ve seen NOT BEING REPAIRED.

Mine is as well. I tried it twice on hard and Kirma despawned both times. :frowning:
