Just push S11 back to February or March

And that goes back to the sentiment of the devs flip flopping on direction. Granted, they heeded feedback to some degree at most points, but they need to dig their heels in. No game can please everyone–pick a lane. Maybe with Rod gone, they will pick a direction.

They need to sell the battle pass because they’ll end up with a product if they can deliver anything.

I’m done with season 10 and I’m sure at this stage there is a good chunk of people that are too.

i didn’t like the early leveling stages. tempering and masterworking are a bit dull now. The season theme is pretty terrible as it is. But none of these issues need more than a few tweaks here and there to get to a better state. 2 month delay is not really needed.

The gear changes and how the progression feel once you hit tormented difficulty all felt good to me.

There weren’t any. I played a lot during that itemization period, and never got an item that had even 3 stats (where I could re-roll the 4th) that was truly good for my class/build, let alone 4 good affixes.

Even the uniques tailor-made for my builds had dump stats.

No item was ever a “wow" item.

This was also my concern. Before loot reborn getting a 3/4 drop was way too rare. In season 3 I got a 2h mace from a world boss when I first entered world tier 4 I guess around level 70 at the time. I never replace that mace the entire season. The mace was pretty crap too but it was the best for the entire season.

But I will say on the PTR it appears the first 3 affixes are still pulling from the same pool as it is on the live server and the 4th is pulling from a different pool. So this might actually allow us to find 3/4 and reroll. But my sample size was just me so it may have been a fluke. We’ll see how it plays out. I believe in the old system all 4 affixes were pulling from the same pool so the 4th affix had a huge pool of crap to pick from.

even with that this game is doomed. They should’ve just kept the game fast action passed and easy to play. Go full power creep every season, who gives a f, people play 1 or 2 weeks anyway.
My advice to people that want a chase or a proper arpg experience is to tell them to go play poe, last epoch even torchlight.

Hopefully they listen to you.

I think some of the changes to core systems that they are going to make are extremely stupid.

I don’t understand why they are changing how armor and resistance function over 2 years after the games release.

These changes will make my build much stronger, but it represents a schizophrenic approach to game development.

Yes there were, don’t lie to make a point. At least there was still a loot-chase; showering players with loot with same boring affixes with the same mandatory % “crafts” with zero innovation or depth is unacceptable in this genre in 2025..

At least D3 had damage-ranges on weapons, D4 doesn’t even have that..

Personably I would just reset s10 and replace release 1.1 - sorry s11 (my mistake, they are so similar).

S11 has absolutely nothing going for it - it is just broken promise on broken promise!

Some of you have a flare for the dramatic.

I’m not. I’m sure some people got one here and there. I never got a single one.

Sorry sir. The Diablo 4 code train stops for nothing.

There’d be no purpose in pushing it back unless they also push the expansion launch back. This season is dead to most players already, you’d be keeping it around longer for ghosts.

Yeah. Seasons should be 6 months at least.

However, S11 is shaping up to be the best season patch D4 has had yet, so bring it on.
Hopefully with multiple seasons following it, with similar changes, because one patch sure isnt enough to turn this game around.

This cuts the profits down by 50% and then you will have 5 month ghost towns in the game. 3 months is the standard rate of season. No reason to goto 6 months other than quality which we were already promised after loss of midseason content and has not happened since barbs still have broken chaos armors in s10 and Bliz is like sowwie we on S11 now.

You could just sell multiple passes each season. Or increase price.

You could, and should, likewise have multiple content patches each of those seasons. It would be more about creating a game that lasted longer before the reset.

Increase price? Thats a no no. The other ARPG with 3 month season will steal all your customers. Nobody is going to play a season for 6 months. We barely get 2 weeks before all these changes so maybe 1 or 2 months max on new system. What are we going to do for 4 months? 6 month timeframe in a season is a loss for everyone. Bliz loses. We lose. Nobody wins.

Play the game.

Day 1 of season; patch is releases as today.
Day 90 of season; patch is released, also kinda like today, just without a reset.
Second patch could be focused more on endgame, while the first focus on general changes, since the second is being released into a season where people have already played into endgame.

I tried to play again after PTR. I think i liked the changes too much. Shorter season is good imo

They need to hire actual game testers who know what they’re talking about
