Maybe you’re right. The game is still very simple and without depth. At the end of 1 month hardcores and casuals will have the same items, maybe not with the same Gas and not with the best MW. But that’s a little important. The game still needs more complexity and better decision making.
Because they lied and that’s what D4 is; it’s D3, and it’s not changing back to something else.
It’s literally too far gone, and the D4 team has lost almost any piece of talent working on it.

True. And judging from early PTR for S8, the game’s still a big, fat joke. Max lvl takes 3 hours, rares still drop with only 2 affixes, you’re fully legged up by lvl40, etc.
I thought of reinstalling the game for S8 but seeing how none of what they said translated in the game, I have 0 interest in doing so.
The leveling speed comes down when not in the expansion campaign and I assume that’s going to be addressed.
In terms of legendaries, if you can’t acquire or imprint legendaries then you have one boring game. It doesn’t have to be that way, but they put practically every semi interesting build decision into an aspect.
When I’m leveling, the only stat I even remotely care about is movement speed. There is nothing even sorta intriguing about low level blues and yellows. I make up more time ignoring the stats that I’d ever win back trying to make a decision.
When literally everything drops with mainstat and life on it, you have no item game. This alone makes leveling boring.
Like other people said, D4 is too far gone at this point. Leveling is non-existent, endgame is boring, items are boring, combat is boring, and the 0 to hero journey just doesn’t really exist.
They will not bring back players with this slop, that’s for sure. For that to happen, major restructuring needs to happen and it’s just not realistic at this point.

You don’t really understand how the “new” Blizzard thinks…
You don’t really matter to them unless you buy the battlepass or skins from the shop.
There’s nothing else to it,they dont want to cater to the f2p cheapskates…they want the regular payers
if you are a casual dad (like me) i have four kids a wife and a morgage.
