Itemization is so BAD and lies to u

They aren’t worth responding to. Better to not engage so they can get back to servicing blizzard.

You are just here to bash the game so your opinion doesn’t matter because it has gotten good reviews and I personally know it’s good and well designed.

Go back to D2 now where you belong. You clearly aren’t the target audience.

You are the biggest  on this forum

All you do is take Ls all day

The game was designed for me not you and you are big mad about it.

It’s a great game and I like it

To bad they didn’t make you a game you like…

You just have low standards

Keep crying here and I’m sure they will redesign the entire game for you

You’re probably level 14, after 124 hours of gameplay because all you’ve been doing is gather herbs.

Yeah that’s it, more tears. The devs really care about your feedback

Wah redesign the whole game you spent 10 years on for me, wah.

They are laughing from atop their pile of cash.

Just add them to your ignore list.

Maybe if enough people ignore them, they’ll finally go away.

Oh no, annoying people want to ignore me. How will I ever recover from not hearing them anymore.

I guess I’ll just have to accept a better experience.

Nonsense. They gave everyone a multitude of choices. + Skill modifiers are back. I heard people b***h for the last 10 years about how in Diablo II (and especially Diablo II before LoD) that “Rares were awesome and important”, and guess what?? They are again. In most cases, you are going to want to extract a Legendary Aspect onto a Rare, and finding the perfect one for your style or enchanting for it will be no small task. The Unique items are just that, you are meant to fill one slot with them. Some builds might not even do that. It’s a fantastic system.

Itemization is casual af. 4 affixes aren’t enough, too much power is tied into MOAR DAMAGE legendary/unique abilities, and they removed T4 uniques, which leaves you nothing to chase for end game. The itemization is phone game levels of bad. Seriously though Blizzard, reactivate the T4 unique items from close beta right now, so there’s at least something exciting to hunt for.

Rule #1 of any game with tool tip compare features.

NEVER TRUST THE GREEN ARROWS.

ALWAYS, compare char sheet stats when swapping gear. everytime

The equip limitations is so annoying. Even Diablo 3 let you equip more weapon types. I want my sorc to use swords not a wand

Yikes. No.

That starts going towards the “classless ARPG” such as the garbage game called PoE.

The fun of this type of game is coming up with a build that feels broken/OP. Players like to feel like they have found something game breaking - within reason of course. With Diablo you never get this feeling. There are the builds that the developers clearly intended and everything else gets nerfed.

It is early days. I know its a totally different genre but Elder Scrolls Online said the same when it first came out but everyone mostly cookie cuttered as it was quite clear what builds and items were meta. Eventually though the breadth of the game expanded and people found more items / more was released and it introduced lots of viable builds. Yes, there are still absolutely meta builds but the variety increased dramatically.

I think for most casual players even right now the depth is fine. For hardcore players they quickly merge into meta at an incredible rate and then it will be how well the game is updated, balanced and variety added that will determine whether you original statements hold true long term.
