Agreed, the game feels far better than it did at release or S1, with that in mind here are 10 tedious or lacking features, at least IMHO.
- The need to farm materials for hours to then be able to farm the bosses you want feels like an unnecessary forced step, personally I like the more direct approach that D2 has on this respect. I just can’t get myself to do one more ToW or Tide, but I would keep logging in to farm the bosses.
- I still don’t understand the reason to limit the number of tabs in you PS. If you are going to sell them than do so already, otherwise just let us get as many tabs as we want to have like PoE or LE. Or at least change it to have 1 shared stash tab and the rest at personal for each char, is annoying to start a new toon with a full stash.
- I don’t to keep farming the basic aspects over an over on each character and on top of it having to extract or store useless items because they have a decent aspect. Make it as with the Altars or once we extract an aspect it updates the passive one from the base value to the extracted one, that would also free stash space.
- Being a season bases game, it makes no sense to limit the # of characters that we can create, these 2 mechanics contradict each other. Can’t expect people to start deleting chars to play the next season.
- Even though S2 feels better than S1 it feels extremely bland in what they add to the gameplay. Why not let (As an example) at least 1 Vampiric power carry over to the ER once the season is over? This alone will create a much bigger drive to start over every season.
- PoE has been out for like a decade already and LE on early access for about 3yrs, what’s the excuse of not having a comparable loot filter to those competing ARPGs?
- Itemization still feels bland to say the least, gear needs more interesting AF/PR to explore and play with builds tweaking.
- No crafting options. The only way to tweak your gear is altering 1 stat which after the 10th try starts to become prohibitive. Why not make it as if you want to modify 1 stat is 1/3 of the current price, than a 2nd stat costs the current amount and a 3rd twice as much? Or an option to add an extra stat all together with some rare material?
- Dungeons are painful. I have no fun by being forced to run them mindlessly to upgrade Glyphs. Make Glyphs need more XP to level but consider All XP after lev 100 towards it, so we can do the one or two of the game mechanics that each of us consider are the most fun and still feels that the XP is going somewhere.
- Give us some type of “Paragon” XP system that we can get extra points after acquiring XP equal to leveling from 1-100, or double that even, at least killing mobs will still feel meaningful.
