One affix doesn’t make the itemization worse than D4s. Lolol. Enjoy your damage buckets that force everyone into using vulnerability.
Let me know when D4 gets real crafting.

At no point have I ever said D4’s itemization was good.
I just said it is WAY better than either PoE or LE. That is a fact. Deal with it.
It’s not a fact. It’s an opinion and it is wrong.
I’m actually surprised there’s no filter in this game. Both POE and Grim Dawn had loot filters. Being able to tailor how the loot is represented on the screen when you will never touch most of it with how stupidly small the inventory is seems like a no-brainer.
So if Im looking for BiS boots on lvl 90 necro you expect me to skim through, pick up and sell all rare boots?
You do realise majority of best in slot items are rares which means you will have to pick and salvage/sell ALL rares of that type until you find one that has good implicits, good rolls on those implicits with only one that I will be able to roll.
How this way of itemization is better than knowing that if item drops it has atleast 3 things I myself decided to pick up? Or do you think me having specific build want to see all boots with all possible option of +x to specific skill that I dont even use? Surely that is exactly what light radius is in PoE. Thanks for helping to make an argument lol.
Now imagine I need to do the same with ALL types of armor… It will make you to spend atleast 20 minutes at the shop selling and filtering bad items / rerolable items / ideal items.
With lack of 20 tabs where I can quickly dump all things and then spend 1hr going through 5 tabs of picked up boots in 4hours nm running I cant even make it efficient.
Make. Item. Filters.
Really need a deep loot filter that can see affixes and rolls before picking up.
Applies to every other damage bucket not just vulnerability
Takes a second to look at each ancestral item, then hit space bar to mark it as junk.
if you are looking for 3 good implicits with best rolls as well as item power and the implicits differs across the item type - idk, my brain takes much more that a second. And genuinely, all items I pick up are ancestral, why that would matter? Tbh wouldnt you want to have different colours between rare ancestral and rare sacred? Wouldnt it be just a simple QoL thing for you?
You are the filter lol.
Id love item filter as well because why not, personally the item color changing doesnt really matter to me since the long ancestral text is good enough. Ton of hyperbole though about how long its taking you i hope
Didnt understand the process - its either 5mins after every nm which lasts for around 10mins - one way
Or what usually ppl do in poe - drop items into specific stash and then once its filled spends a time to check on any potential good ones which takes more time. I think similarly for d3
How many builds are you looking for at once? Maybe thats why? Ill just look at the items power level, that disqualifies 90% of them then glance at affixes which disqualifies the rest of them
Highlighting items with certain stats is the most important to me. Id like to look for a chance at upgrades without having to look at every item… but still need to pick everything up for the gold…
Also a sell all function
or if they greatly increased gold drops and lowered sell value would kinda be nice.
I would love a search feature for item properties like Aspects – My stash is full of them, but since they are attached to different item types (rings, amulets, gloves, weapons, etc.), trying to locate them can be a nightmare.
Search function available for $4.99 in season 8.
I think you’re forgetting that Diablo, Last Epoch, PoE, etc. are all looting games, there’s supposed to be a ton of loot all over the place, that’s what the whole genre is based off of…
You wouldn’t play Borderlands 2 and be upset that Terramorphous dropped a $#!@ ton of items would you? Didn’t think so.
Matter of fact, I feel like Diablo could learn a thing or three from bosses in borderlands, regarding world bosses. You get 3 pieces of usually terrible gear from the World Boss, plus a cache sometimes. that cache is in a garbage league of it’s own, not to mention you gotta wait til 80 to open it, if you’re not 80 already.
This may come as a shock to you, but you don’t have to take everything that drops. If you find a rare and it doesn’t have what you want and you would rather not deal with it, DROP IT ON THE GROUND AND MOVE ON.
And no, I don’t need to color code Sacred and Ancestral because it takes a fraction of a second to notice if it has those words while it is still on the ground. If it doesn’t, no need to bother.
I can’t tell if you’re agreeing or not. But my point is that the entire genre is designed around loot explosions. If you filter out everything to the point where you might only see one item in an entire dungeon because you are so strict with what you want, what the hell is the point? You would be better off going to play almost any other game.
This depends on where you are game time wise. Early on, yes you do for the crafting materials. Near the end, not so much.
May come as a shock to you but if there is item filter you can either turn it on or off.
This genre in almost all other games have some sort of item filter. Why? Because some of people likes to go through every single item and pick them. Some don’t. Why not to have an option as it is the standard among other similar games? (PoE/Last Epoch)
Some people like optimizing, some like to see abundance. Really depends on the person. When there is no option - you gotta deal with it.
