Look for Chain Lighting + Lighting Spear builds.
Its the best build in S6. There are many in both Maxroll and Mobalytcs
Fireball is putting out million in DPS. Once you get the weapon that makes fireball bounce, you are pretty much set. Check Maxroll for the build guide.
I prefer to pure Chain Lightning spec, not nearly as powerful and takes more paragon, but I am edging towards T3 right now. I’d rather play a spec I enjoy that the fotm build.

I"m fine soloing in T4 for generic activities. Helltides, Undercity, Nightmare dugeons, etc.
I have a LS with Familiar build; my gear is OK and I’m at Pit 80+ now. Helltide blood maiden goes down, with time. Can solo most anything folowing mechanics. Feel like worthless garbage in Infernal Hordes though when grouped with SBs. I feel guilty for taking a slot and I know they are wondering if they could have done a bit bettter without me there. I don’t know why I get anxiety about it with SB damage not only tuned higher but bugged. For whatever reason I’ll drop out of a group after one Infernal Horde run.
Chain Lightning and Frozen Orb are quite comfortable for farming T4. I particularly like CL best because of the visuals.
Do u mean lightning spear and lightning spear? My frozen orbs are hittng for 3m-7m. Too low for t4 so i went back to t3. Missing +3 or 4 FOrb gloes tho. Not sure if thatll even put me over 10m per orb
i’m playing frozen orb and i don’t think its much different in terms of damage from fireball or cl, this season if you want to do easily the hardest part of the game, spiritborn is the only class available, all the other classes and builds including sorc fb,cl or fo cant unless blizzard buff them (correct me if i’m wrong)

No, I did not run the splintering aspect on FO nor CL and was able to do tormented bosses on t4 just fine and up to pit 80ish. In fact, dropping LS for an additional multiplier increases single-target damage a bit. Try FO with staff and with the frozen orbit aspect on it and CL with Frostburn/Azurewrath combo scaling lucky hit dmg with generic multipliers like storm swell, conceited, and shredding blades.

Frozen orb - with the right mythics is more then viable in t4 and would be proper fun if it was possible to max your codex aspects.
Most sorcerer builds CAN do it with the right mythics to have durability along with defense cooldowns…however it can take a LONG time to kill things.
I drop to T3 for hordes and tormented bosses. Everything else T4 at the moment. LS/FO and that’s with shako,tyreals and starless. Good roll on winterglass, 3 GA esu’s. It’s a tank. The spears take longer to ramp up. Definitely nerfed this season. Why?? All their arguments about builds being OP went right out the window with spiritborn. And the poor barbs got thrown out with the bath water.

so far is the strongest. i just hot swap the illuminator gloves and endless rage staff, the bouncing fireball is outperform my FO/LS even without changing the paragon board (which is FO/LS based).
it smoothly roam T4 helltide & infernal hordes like any 60(200+) sorc did in T2.
