Is Barrage still really bad vs objects?

Last season played Barrage Rogue for some time, but switched from it because it was TERRIBLE vs various “objects”, like exploding masses, portals in Hordes, the time bonus objects in Undercity, “destroy X” in Nightmare dungeons and such.
So… Anyone tried it this season at T12?

UPDATE:
Oook. Reached T12 and while I’m still missing a few parts and a few dozen paragon points, along with unoptimized gear stats… It’s doing well on T10, some hiccups with damage on the objects on T11 and not great but definitely better than previous season on T12.
Maybe will revisit the post once I have assembled the build properly.

I’ve only reached t8, but, I’m fairly unimpressed so far.

Not so good as Penshot, bit it WAS ok.

It was last season but there might be no big change.

Besides, barrage setting is technically NOT so different from Penshot. Which means you can restore to Penshot if you’re not satisfied. So just give it a try.
