I put bash on my number #1 hotkey and everytime I press it my character moves. Is that supposed to happen or there is something wrong in my binding set up?
I use it to my advantage and just old down #2 (where my bash is assigned). It’s the same With all the basics (I believe). I know for a fact Lunge dose it as well. Been this way since the game launched.
Ok see I never placed a basic on the hotkey, it’s always been on mouse click. It threw me off when my character kept moving when I spammed bash.
Takes a little getting use too, but I prefer in now a days. For my Left Mouse Click I just keep it empty and still sometimes use to to move as well; no ability attached to it.
i use controller not m&k and no bash does not move me. yes lunging strike does, but not bash
There is a option to keep your character still in the options. It can be a toggle or hold of a key
If you’re using mouse + keyboard and you want to stand still when you attack, you can hold SHIFT when attacking and you won’t move.
Use WASD, which is far more efficient for movement, and you’ll never have that problem. Point n Click is so inefficient for today’s gaming, I don’t know how people still play with it. It’s one of many reasons why I couldn’t stick around in LE(gender lock was another). After finally getting to enjoy it in D4, I just can’t go back to 90s era game play anymore.
