Iron maelstrom hidden technique charge bug and mastered weapon with the third blade

-”hidden technique” variant is bugged with the charges

-”mastered weapon” variant that gives it the “weapon mastery” tag

does not work with “the third blade” but “mighty throw" that swaps the

“weapon mastery” tag to “ultimate” does work with “the third blade”

please blizzard, this doesn’t make any sense for it to work the way it does right now and i also don’t understand how the charges bug hasn’t been fixed even though it has been a while since the bug has been there

What exactly does not work? With The Third Blade, does:

  • Mastered Weapon have IM gain the Weapon Mastery Tag, Core Skill Tag, and Ultimate Tag?
  • Does the Aspect work but IM still has a CD?
  • Does +WM Damage work?
  • Does +Core Skills or +WM Skills work?

IM has been bugged for a while and The Third Blade has NEVER worked properly. There is always something that gets borked.

Where things get really interesting for example is Chain Whip for Steel Grasp says it is ALSO Brawling Skill. Not sure if this still works, but you could load up on Brawling Skills and Chainscourged but never actually use Steelgrasp. You can spam IM with Arreats Set and it would dish out supercharged Steelgrasps if Steelgrasp was the only WM Skill on your bar. It would not put SG on CD since you were not casting it. Early on I was hitting for 125T before swapping Builds.

the third blade does not give IM the core skill tag or change the cooldown to fury cost so it literally does nothing for it

Well, with Delayed Extinction before the Expansion, The Third Blade would not convert the CD to Fury Cost for Steelgrasp and Mighty Throw, but it would give it the Core Skill Tag and +Core Skills worked for it, Core Skill Aspects, Unbridled, and Rupture could be used with Rage of Harrogath along with Weapon Master Glyph to instant reset your Skills, activate Encroaching Wrath, and keep Lucion’s maxed out.

It has never worked appropriately :frowning:
