Intended New S8 builds notes I took

These builds are not the META, but they are the +intended+ New S8 builds, uniques, aspects, key passive, and play styles.

I’m guessing these builds will get you to Torment Three and you’ll want to follow the Maxroll . GG META to go from Torment Four and beyond like, Belial, Pit, etc. the META builds that were nerfed will now require all of the best stats, Tempers, Masterworking to perfection but, when you get those then they will be S Tier again even after the nerfs.

This will be a big wall of text but I feel like if I’m interested in trying these builds. Then possibly others will too. I more or less transcribed this info from the Developer Update (aka Campfire chat). So, sorry if I made spelling errors.

Druid -

  1. Human Form,
  2. Buff to Earthen Might key passive, additional multiplier crit when it procs
  3. Unique helm Gathlen’s Birthright, Nature / Earth synergy. Works against bosses.
  4. Aspect of Impending Deluge, Storm strike

Barbarian

  1. Mighty Throw,
  2. Hitting enemies with your weapons. WW buff by 60% and good bleed. (My “Dafeet3d’s speculation”: WW may be bad for Belial dodging abilities)
  3. Mighty Throw items. Bane of Ahjad-den Unique gloves. Every 12 seconds you mighty Throw and big damage,
  4. Aspect of Delayed Extinction = Cooldown instead of reducing the CDR it gives a multiplier to Mighty Throw damage.

Necromancer

  1. Minions / Army of the Dead (AOTD)
  2. Blood Lance always spreads, updated tooltip. It’s always a two target cleave. If target already has debuff it does double damage (bosses)
  3. Vampiric Curse is actually a curse.
  4. Minions 2H unique sword Sangulvar Blade of Zir - summons apply Vampiric Curse on enemies and AOTD releases Vampiric Curse as multiple attacks, and Vampiric Curse works with curse talents. The unique sword gives Summon Damage instead of crit, so you don’t miss out on not having a Scythe.
  5. Aspect of Service and Sacrifice. Skeleton warriors explode on death and lose health in combat. Run in and die. Mages and Golem remain alive in battle as damage dealers.

Rogue

  1. Poison Trap

  2. Shadow Clone always a Cutthroat skills. If you cast Pen Shot and your clone mimics it, your clone’s Pen Shot is a Cutthroat skill. Etc.

  3. Bands of Ichorous Rose unique gloves, Poison Trap deals all of its damage kind of upfront (first three seconds)

  4. Poison Trap benefits from Combo, Inner Sight, etc.

  5. Aspect of Contamination , extra burst, builds poison damage, reward you for building up your Critical Chance, because the affect is on Crit.

Sorceress

  1. Ice Shards
  2. Reworked Avalanche key passive reduce Frost resource cost, more damage, and more damage to Vulnerable
  3. Unique helm Bail of Verglas - Ice Shards spread and more damage if you hit your target with multiple Ice Shards.
  4. Shivering aspect, more multiplier damage based on how much you’re Chilling enemies, and also how much you stagger a boss.
  5. Smoother casting familiar especially fast when casting familiar three times compared to what we have now, to get moving again quickly after the cast.

Spiritborn

  1. Eagle Jaguar

  2. Fixed bug that Unyielding Hits increased weapon damage. It wasn’t working but now it is working and a very powerful multiplier.

  3. Sepazontic buff to basic damage

  4. Sunbirds Gorget unique amulet. Spawn Storm Feathers and as you pick up Storm Feathers, it makes Firestorm around you, benefits from all Eagle, and Jaguar, and Storm Feathers “tag”.
4.a No Basic or Core skills in the build but Storm Feathers increases the more you pick up the Feathers to get a stronger and bigger Firestorm, up to a cap.

  5. Rip and Tear aspect to buff up Rushing Claw, and rework to Rushing Claw. Alternative play style. Much increased damage and increases more damage based on how many stacks you have. Also a 15% heal.

  6. Poised Rushing claw, when you run out of charges of it you will consume 4 stacks of Ferocity to get your charges back.
6.a Invasive Rushing Claw now has 12 charges, and consumes all charges to use at once for a stacking damage multiplier. Always have by casting as you get more charges, or save up your charges for one big moment. Cooldown or ways to reduce your Cooldown is actually stacking up damage. And it’s going to damage a much larger area.

In conclusion I know I’m not the first to transcribe these updates, but now it’s available on the Console Forums.

Monster NRG Cheers,
And Belial’s lies end now.

Leaning toward WW barb for leveling and pits, with an alternate spec of Mighty Throw for bossing. Fortunately, the uniques and mythics are the same for both builds.
