Apparently there is a reported bug going around of a infinite spawning butcher shrine if you get the “fallen exploders” version of the shrine. The fallen continue to spawn even if the player drops out of butcher form.
also happens if you are in helltides, and run from the shrine as the butcher, to Kor Dragan, and then back out into helltides. just found out about that.
