Infinite paragon

Its dumb.

When you looked at the leaderboards on diablo 3… every season the account with the highest paragon was top 10. It adds nothing to game and just encourages botting. Its a mind-numbingly lazy and stupid mechanic

Can you go back please and comment on my version. Not the previous bad paragon version in D3. Thank you! :white_check_mark:

Instead of cosmetics they could give some minimal amount of platinum. Allowing over time some people to buy some cosmetics or incentivize others to spend a bit more and buy something, or pay for a BP or something.

Because you believe there isnt a better way to do infinite paragon? We can always suggest a better way than just allocate boring stats and incorp something to either boost nodes on the board in strength or add extra effects.

Dont flat out dismiss the idea of adding infinite paragon back, just do it differently than D3…

But seeing how they are adding 2 systems from D3 back next season and a system from D2… We should just add infinite paragon anyway from D3… They are downgrading the whole damn game and squishing everything down.

I am claiming this about year  Give us unlimited progress but not power gain. EZ

yes until about day 3 of prerelease and got better at playing same as I don’t get wiped out by the butcher anymore

If it give unlimited power that invalidates gear then no, there isnt a good way to do it.

Now im not apposed to unlimited if there is a hard cap and after cap non-power rewards exist like the current unlimited rep grind in S5.

We will agree to disagree. In arpgs power should mainly come from gear you find not a participation throphy because a person spends X time grinding.

Now i do believe the 5 board cap is a good change.

And this is a good change. Quadrillion numbers shouldnt be a thing.

Infinite Paragons were terrible. It should never come back, ever.

Sets are fine if it’s a 2 to 3 piece set max. Otherwise your choices are limited and there’s no reason to hunt for anything else.

The skills and damage needed to be toned down, D3 went over the top with it all and D4 was getting there too.

I like how all of you ignore the possibility of a different way to do infinite paragon. I’ll leave you to your copium.

I came here trying to figure out why after finally being able to play D4 again for the first time in months, I don’t earn any more Paragon levels.

And I see apparently they changed it, and a lot of people are screaming about it. But I don’t see any actual reason to do it other than just subjective opinions.

It seems pretty stupid and random to me. Why does it matter to me how others play the game? Answer: IT. DOES. NOT.

Stop worrying about how others play.
Stop concerning yourselves with who others love.
Stop fussing about other peoples belief systems.
Mind your own god damned business and live YOUR life, not someone elses.

Infinite paragons doesnt really solve anything. And it wont be infinite because you have a board limit and you will run out of nodes to unlock. This will remove any use for find a path because you would just get everything. Only adding a few hundres (main)stat. You can pretty much steamroll t4 at paragon 200, so anything above 300 really isnt needed.

If you already play each season for 100 plus hours to reach paragon 300 you really wont need more power.

I understand the want for “number goes up” as a reward for killing monsters after you reach max level.

In season 5 you can keep earning seasonal track exp for infinite cashes with gear.

I wouldnt mind if they would implement something similar for monster exp past paragon 300. Something like paragon prestige where upon reaching 300 you can keep getting levels but instead of a point you get gear, or crafting mats.

Infinite paragons doesnt really solve anything.

Uh… Hello? MCFLY?! It’s a video game.
There’s nothing to solve.

If you don’t like a system you just don’t use it.

An example of how to do infinite paragon

Paragon 1 -300: Used on boards. Paragon 301+ are not used in boards but instead are spendable in paragon section of cosmetic shop.
