im pretty sure they will lift some of these whiteknight arguments verbatim during the dumpsterfire chat on friday.
So this is what you do, little man.
You go post by post around the forums, posting a video of you deleting a game from your console.
The fact that you recorded yourself doing so, under the expectation that it matters (and then you post it over and over again) because you want people to see it is beyond what can be conveyed with respectable words.
You little self-entitled narcissist you…
sounds like a narc.
You are 100% correct. Balance is a good thing. Under performing abilities and classes should be buffed up to the level of other abilities.
HOWEVER blanket nerfing every classes attack and defense is a 0 IQ move and blizzard are really stupid for doing this…
NM 80+ was already very one shot heavy with the enemies and now it’s just worse.
There isn’t enough copium on Earth to convince me this patch was a good idea. Get Walter White himself to cook it, still not gonna work.
What couldn’t hear you over the fact that i ignored what you wrote
Gonna give BG3 a chance instead of these clowns. They had their chance and blew it.
Go record yourself more little man. Someone might care
Looking forward for when it ends and they fire who ever is making these decisions
Sorry, i don’t understand English. What did you say?
You are not funny, you can simply stop trying, it’s ok to be who you are.
They did nothing to buff underperforming dead skills though. Where is the buff to chain lightning for example?
Why don’t you go back to Blizzards onlyfans and keep simping
There is nothing more unoriginal and insufferable in online gaming discourse than when someone doesn’t sufficiently hate a game for the mob’s liking, they are automatically being paid in some under the table scheme. Again, conspiracies and the narcissism that drives them is the dominant force around here.
-Balance is key:WHERE DID YOU GET THAT AN ARPG a game that LITERALLY THE WAY TO PLAY is SSF-HC is competitive? I bet the game will get even more unbalanced and focus on a ridiculous meta dominated by a single class/skill EXACTLY AS WE SAW it in D3.
–Here it is already clear that you have never played an arp in your life and you know nothing of what you are talking about (I even have doubts if this is genuine or just a blizz song doing damage control)
-Long-term health of the game:
The game is already dead from what I see from the list of friends and people in clans that I know, I can say that 50~90% of the playbase has already left the game, these nerfs will only make the return of these players much smaller because NO ONE in sam conscience returns to something he abandoned and which is now WORSE, but lagged, and with more work and slowness for everything boring and that made him stop playing without offering ANYTHING in return. because THAT is the point the game has to be very VERY slow to hide that they have NOTHING to offer.
-Encouraging skill development:Thanks to the failed D3 generator/spender skil system. this game has ONLY 5 skills nerf the ONLY one that works it doesn’t create “variety” it just forces people to play what they don’t want. and that’s because they need to force a new meta, to create the false impression that the game is innovating when in fact it’s just reheating what already exists. THIS IS EXACTLY what is done in D3 and we all know how that ended and what a terrible game D3 is.
New opportunities for underused classes: What??? this game has RIDICULOUS 5 classes with NO specialization. not even in PoE a free game we have so little diversity. There we have 7 classes of which 6 have 3 specializations and one has a combination of 2 out of 18 specializations. D4 if you want to have a light class (the first diablo to do this) don’t weigh in armor or someone who uses SHIELD. there’s simply nothing to explore that hasn’t already been explored because the game is as shallow as a puddle
Reducing power creep: I bet you that in a short time we will see the same thing that we saw in D3, you can write, I bet that in a short time they saw the worlds t6~t16. this game already has people doing billions of damage and now everything in the game is a HK the defense just doesn’t exist anymore EXACTLY like D3
Community feedback and iterative development: “Blizzard is known for valuing player feedback” serious? are you serious? I can’t even stand it because this is beyond insanity.
No, the game was already poorly balanced, now it’s even worse. Bring back the ability to grind down a boss by not regenerating their health when you die. Allow for an easier setting for us casual gamers to use so we can enjoy the game too. Not just the hardcore fanatics out there. There should be an easier build for the casual gamer.
this is actually much worse because it may even work for a while but we all know the collapse it generates just see D3.
When a game is fast people can do what they have to do quickly, take a break and rest and when they miss the game they come back that’s why D2 is what it is. BUT when the game is ARTIFICIALLY slow and everything seems like a barrier to progress the people who stop NEVER RETURN look at WoW, look at D3, look at Overwatch…and the OP still says that the blizz listens to the community??? the truth is that the balance blizzard north is dead and this body of executives at Activision simply killed EVERYTHING she stood for.
They made most of the underperforming skills even weaker compared to the meta options than they already were. Rofl.
I came into this thread expecting a troll post, and I still think that is what I read…but if you are serious…
By nerfing overpowered classes, Blizzard aims to level the playing field, encouraging diversity in class choices and making the game more engaging for everyone.
Druids and Rogues have been the strongest end game classes thus far…and they still are. In fact, people predict that 70% of the player base will start as rogue in S1. (The truth is 70% of the player base probably won’t play S1)
Games that undergo frequent and significant balance changes tend to have a longer lifespan.
This patch did not bring balance. Balance implies that they apply buffs relative to the nerfs. They applied significant nerfs, and miniscule buffs. The OP builds are still OP when compared to everything else.
Slowing down the game can lead to more thoughtful decision-making and strategic play. Instead of relying on fast-paced mechanics, players will have to focus on their skills, teamwork, and coordination. This shift can elevate the level of play and create a more rewarding experience for dedicated players who invest time in mastering their class.
This game is one of the easiest games I have ever played, but it is still too hard for a lot of my casual friends. Nobody that I game with plays Diablo for the extreme challenge. They want to come home from work, turn on a game, turn off their brain, and mindlessly slay tons and tons of monsters.
When overpowered classes get nerfed, it opens up space for less popular or underused classes to shine.
True, except druids have a lot of strong builds…and they still do. Rogues had a lot of strong builds…and they still do. Necros have one of the strongest boss builds…and they still do. Sorc’s were the weakest end game class…and they still are.
As a game evolves over time, there’s a natural tendency for new content and abilities to become more powerful than the existing ones. By nerfing classes and slowing down the game, Blizzard can effectively manage power creep, ensuring that the game remains balanced and enjoyable for both new and veteran players.
The percentage of players that could complete a T100 NM Dungeon or kill Uber Lilith is very small, and the majority of the player base needs the seasonal power to complete these activities. These nerfs just made it so that even with that power, they probably wont. Plus…the eternal realm exists, and it will be unaffected by the seasonal power. There was no power creep there to keep in check.
Blizzard is known for valuing player feedback…the development team takes feedback into account and continuously iterates on the game’s balance.
Have you ever played a Blizzard game? This latest patch is a great example of “valuing feedback”. The community wanted more stash space, gem tabs, better incentives for difficult content, and a whole slew of QoL changes. We got exactly zero of those things…Z.E.R.O.
Nope, it makes no sense at the higher end and even less sense for the majority of players who are just going to update their game and not acknowledge any changes whatsoever.
