After the recent patch, with the said “stability fix” or so whatever.
Still experiencing Disconnection while I teleport back to town.
After loading screen = black screen = disconnection
damn. wasted another 3 good sigils

Ffs I was hoping the update would of fixed this! I dc’d for my 3rd time in 20 min. I’m gonna vendor and go play some PoE I guess. I want to play my barb damnit! Fix yo shiz blizz!
I’m at the point where I don’t go back to town till the end of dungeon. Came back to collect reward after get glyph xp to avoid disconnection and lose it all. It’s nuts.
I disconnected again 3x last night, 2 was teleporting to town and 1 was teleporting to a dungeon. That’s a first for a dungeon disconnect for me. After that I went to play PoE, yeah PoE is good but when Diablo 4 is working fine I like it better. But these disconnects are very frustrating. This didn’t start happening for me until 1.1.2, before that everything was smoothe for me. What the hell happened? Hell beta was running better than this!
i cant understand how this is still not fixed. For me game is almost unplayable after patch 1.1.1. Dc every 2-3 teleports to nm dungeon
It’s “nice” when things stay the way they are: new patch, more disconnects!
ANYBODY at Blizzard still at work? Or does it take the entire staff to count the money made from a game that is obviously buggy and was released prematurely?
Well I only disconnected 5x tonight not 10 like the other night. Maybe they’re fixing it
That is somewhat… hahaha
I still want to know why its not affecting all of us.
I have not been able to replicate this at all. Been able to play for 30 minutes or 3 hours, with no issues.
I am running the same game, with the same patch. Makes no sense. If it was as bad as it sounds, surely more people would be having the issue, no?
probably cp memory problem?
Well, I have to wonder if its triggering a secondary problem.
It could be memory, sure. It could be anything at this point. We are guessing. But since the only common ground that those with the issue so far have, its the game update.
I have to worry about this a little bit, as I run a DDR5 based system on a 12900k CPU. And the board has 4 memory slots, with two populated, running XMP at 5600. (please note, its more likely to see XMP issues at speeds of 6000 and higher in XMP) I plan to eventually add in two more modules, but I have been monitoring the experience of others trying to run 4 DDR5 modules on boards along side (especially) 12gen hardware.
But to date, I have not had a single “Fenris” crash, and since launch I have seen exactly one time it froze. But it turned out to be an issue with my ISP going down at the time.
I do get very rare stalls (maybe once over a couple weeks of playing) where it sticks teleporting to a town for about a second or two, but it always recovers. And sure once in a great while it can chop for a few seconds enough to drop FPS below 100, but its very brief.
I have been documenting this throughout the time I have been playing since game release. I have videos of my playback experience online. I upgraded my monitor to a 1440p and settings to Ultra in an attempt to cause myself issues. But alas, it continues to run very nicely, at least for my personal experience, and I use both a desktop and a laptop to play the game, though admittedly, I haven’t played on the laptop much lately, due to work.
I don’t know what else to suggest, but I know its not what most want to hear. They are more willing (and understandably so) to blame Blizzard, than to think it may be something else. But people need to be open to the possibility that something with their system (even obsure) could still be responsible for triggering this weird behavior.
So I’m not fully convinced its solely Blizzard’s fault directly. Indirectly however, they have some blame to account for, not least of which COMMUNICATION.
To say I’m disappointed in their communication with the player base as a whole while they are experiencing common repeats of problems is an understatement.
And I will agree (and re-state again) that I still feel there IS a problem with the Diablo 4 network traffic, both with downloading updates and during game play, even though the latter hasn’t affected me personally. However this teleport disconnect could be related to network connections in general.
Anyway, lets hope something is discovered, they fix it from their end, or it is resolved for those of you having issues soon.
Game on.
I give up. I tried everything suggested on forums to “fix” the disconnection issues. It only started after the patch 1.1.1. I look at the frequency of people voicing this concern out and it seems to be a very small group.
So I honestly don’t think they would fix this anytime soon. I thought the recent updates would have fixed this by now but it seems that it’s not an issue for most people.
Something happened in that patch that turned my experience into Lilith’s Infinite Helltide of DC Suffering. I understand I can’t just blame everything on Blizzard but it’s hard not to, cause they sold this product and now as a consumer I can’t do anything about it.
The DC concerns will just go into the void cause why would they care? It’s only a niche group experiencing this and they already made their money. So yeah just wanted to say im out. Im done it’s not worth it for an incomplete game.
Gahhhh! Dc’d for 3rd time tonight teleporting to kyoshad. 1 more and I’m playing PoE rest of night this is rediculous!
yea i feel like im robbed. Cant play for 3 weeks now. If only refund was possible
i have the same issue
Please blizz for the love of Diablo fix these disconnects!
Still a problem for me since 1.1.1
This bug is about loading and disposing loaded resources on teleport.
Blizzard blames users network, but it has nothing to do with networking.
This happens only on teleport.
This is a 100% a university class code which they can not understand the base of the bug, and you can see this with many things they implemented in the game eg horse riding.
This is the situation you are facing here.
If there was a technical problem on our part, i would not be here trust me, i would fix it alone.
This is the 1st time i try to check if something is getting tracked in bugs and instead i see that they blame the users.
Again 1 high end pc is working, 2nd low end pc is getting disconnected ONLY on teleport, if you dont teleport you will never get disconnected.
This bug appeared to all users after 1.5month of release simuteanously.
I have not seen them blame this on the users at all. I have seen them suggesting the users check their systems first, which, while a default response, is not the same as placing blame. So lets clear that misconception up.
They of course are going to suggest steps for troubleshooting ANY problem and most of those steps are going to follow the same route.
We all know there are issues. And they may be working on the issues. But to tell us they are working on them is the same as admitting they know about them, and they don’t seem to want to accept a problem till they have it solved, then they will talk about it. And even then the information will be the bare minimum.
They acknowledged a few times they are bad about it, BUT NEVER IMPROVE IT.
Campfire chats aren’t the answer.
They need to visit their community directly. And not on Twitter or Facebook. HERE. On the bloody official FORUM.
But no. Silence is preferred and/or tidbits of info on Twitter seems to be sufficient.
They won’t learn.
So in the mean time, you all get to be frustrated while having issues that you can’t seem to resolve. Its sucks.
And to further my point:
The lack of real communication. There was a hotfix for a specific bug with an item, but a vague mention of stability fixes.
Good grief blizz I’m still having this issue everytime I teleport! FIX PLZ ffs!
