(Added: I recommend Monk for an easy Monkey set dungeon conquest… and spamming chat to help you do Cursed Peat bounty for 2/3 conquests… otherwise the season journey is pretty easy, can be done between now & the supposed end of season in a few hours.)
Otherwise, I recommend spending $30 on the… objectively superior, but palpably more grindy/challenging, rival product that’s currently in early access. Probably the best bargain you’ll get over the next year or so, considering the massive updates it’s getting (including x2 the classes & x3 the ascendancies by the time it fully releases). Don’t bother if you’re used to D4’s pace of progression and/or you don’t like combat feeling like combat.
By then, we’ll probably have news of a 2nd D4 expansion, and the “battle chest” bundles will probably get a hefty discount. But gone are the days when said bundles were cheaper than what you likely paid for base game on release (plus there are probably complications with applying a bundle expac to an existing account, thanks digital transition!)… I guess there’s always a chance the game will become really really good and worth the asking price a year from now. If you’re one of the Diablo fans who grimaces reflexively whenever we think of D4, it won’t kill you to keep that candle burning… 
Wouldnt it be funny if theyd just do no more Sales so OP doesnt return? hahaha.

There’s currently a reduction on VoH, it’s at 30 bucks instead of 40. I’m still wondering if I must buy it or not, as some says the story is meh. I’ve try the free trial of spirit warrior class, I didn’t enjoy its gameplay that much. Just the runes should be interesting, but I don’t know. I think it should go at 20 bucks

As for VOH, I would like to see the state of the game change to something I like before putting any more money in, personally. There is no point in putting gas into a car you just crashed.

At this point I have no plans to, unless I hear it is so much better than s6 was.
My main problems with this game is they don’t really value the integrity of the balance in the game and will dictate what class/build to play by season…instead of it being a real “build” game where all builds have options.
My 2nd issue is the lack of challenge at most points of the game.
I am ok with most other things, even if they try something new. But last season was just shameful. It really shows this is a MTX product first and a game last.
