They obviously can’t find the bug, this whole thing is a mess and the only way to save it is to remove the craft tag. But instead of doing so, they are doubling down. I’m personally one of those gamers often optimistic about this game. I made 3 characters last season and played for 5-6 weeks.. this time. im out after 2.
They’re not “doubling down.” There are blue posts that they are looking into drop rates. IDK why they’re having so much trouble with features that worked on PTR though.
Question is, will the D 4 community be compensated for the loss of their many key’s trying to find Mythics.
In your dreams. Blizzard has been spitting in our faces since before Season 14 even started. They simply don’t care.
Crude…but I don’t judge if people like that kind of thing as a Kink.
This issue was from day 1 and it’s been 2 weeks now. By the time they find a solution and implement , it will be by 3rd-4th week. People will lose their patience , I am certainly one of them. yes, they are doubling down.
The crafted tag was a bad idea to begin with but I thought to myself . That’s ok, since mythics will be a plenty and I will just have to farm it. Problem is it’s not the case, mythics are far and few. So instead of fixing the season just by removing the craft tag so that I can at least use my sparks I earned from season rewards, they insist on trying to make the original idea of “crafting” still work. It’s too late already, ppl are losing interest fast. The momentum they had from last season is all but gone.
Just admit the idea failed and move on . The solution is right there.
Honestly they should remove the crafting cap and make free candy 15-25% weaker then the dropped version.
I think that’s the most logical fix, not just make purple rain from the sky again. There’s no excitment in that.
Changes needed.
- Upgrade to Mythic should do just that upgrade a unique to a mythic - that should be the only way something can be ‘crafted’ and should be unique equipped.
- Iconic Mythics should be statistically possible for a normal player to get (e.g by having a boss to farm etc).
- Jeweler, Blacksmith, boss drops and other random sources of mythics should not be tagged as crafted.
I’m confused about the analogy here - free candy would be boss drops as that is given to you like someone throwing candy.
Cube upgrades are the non free candy, you actually had to work and spend resources to make those.
Even now a mythic unique can be worse than a normal one if the affixes are bad. Nerf by 25% and you’d just be wearing some gear with a pretty animated purple background.
Just remove crafting of new mythics. Just let them drop.
Remove trarget farming of runes at lairbosses (because that would be too easy) and let us craft the oldschool mythics as usual. ![]()
Finally happened. Lack of testing on their part has probably lost a lot of players though at this stage in the season. Poor showing , dragging their feet to a solution. Regardless, thank you blizzard…
