Hows that work for getting steam achievements and zero effort steam deck integration?
If your asking me i have no idea, i wasnt even aware there was any steam acheivments to be had.
EDIT After launching on steam i got like 9 or more " rewards " the notice, the sound effect but no actual rewards i could find, and the " w " key it said to press to see the rewards isnt working/didnt do anything like that 1 key is broken.
I definitely would have bought on steam had i known you could or they had made it available at launch.
Battle.net is the only other launcher im forced to ever use besides steam, the rest of my games are there.
It just links them together. You can access your account from either.

I just did.
So, as soon as the Steam version was downloaded I launched it and then you first get a screen with a code and link to Battle.net account link website.
So following the link you login with your battle.net account and then you have the option to link it with your Steam account.
After I did that the game would proceed to login and I have all my characters and stuff from the original D4 battle.net version.
Just like when you add console version it will fully sync your account.
You obviously cannot get Steam Achievements for manually added non-steam games.
Wow thats ridiculous.
They should offer a transfer fee if you arent getting a second account to play with somewhere and paying twice.
Thats really really bad.
In game credit or a couple premium battle passes or something would make some sense but pay twice same account?
Thats pretty horrendous.
At least you could gift out the account access to the second account.

Is Diablo 4 still present and playable directly from battle.net launcher, without requiring Steam, if you were to install it directly from there?
