I want better in game tools to verify that talent points are actually working

thats crazy you can have talents like cull the wicked on paladins that dont work at all for months and we have no idea theyre just a dead node.

You mean you don’t like going to the training room and squinting at the screen trying to figure out if the numbers are generally bigger than before?

its what im doing right now. but first you have to go to the den to get rid of your mercenary because you cant just dismiss them from the ui

i give a lot of thanks for removing dmg variance at least for testing

fyi turn off non crits and its easier to see damage numbers

they might get lost on the way

This games damage calculation is more complicated than Black-Scholes. Surprised anyone noticed at all.

i agree everything required to learn to learn whether interactions are working or not should be in the game.

they need a damage meter in the training dummy room. it would solve a lot of problems.

i get 3-4 hours off per day with my 2 jobs 6 days a week and looking at how my character is broken is not how i want to spend them.

put a damage meter in the training room.

its unfortunate that cull the wicked doesnt actually have a x25 multiplier as stated in the tooltip but i still prefer the cleave it offers vs the other talent which i think shouldnt even be in the game as is unless youre going to build around being like a blade master in wc3.

will just change my fanatacism aura to applying vuln instead of weaken and not play around the weaken mechanic which is essentially now just a damage reduction.

Blizzard doesn’t even have these tools to verify their own implementations are working!! You are asking them for wayyy too much! Some poor dev at Blizz is gonna have to come into work for the first time in months. Please, just let them be!!!

Seems very silly to add a training room at all without damage metrics. They let you change the configuration of the dummies in all sorts of ways. There’s little stat summaries that pop up after tower and echo of hatred so the technology is already in game to display it…

Just fill the buckets man!

FYI all four mercs hang out in Temis just south of the blacksmith. There’s even the merc rep coin vendor there at the NE corner of their little caravan.

Incompetence and laziness on Blizzard’s part. They need to do better.

So they fired all the QA people , then put the training room and dummies, so that players can test and become bug testers .
