For me, and I assume/hope others, it’s as simple as this. My game time is very limited so I want to log in, kick butt in end-game, have some fun and log off…I’ll occassionally make a seasonal toon for a change of scenery/class but thats all…
So yes seasonal players that “mock” us eternal players…the mythic change is a traumatic car wreck for us because of the time sink.
If you only play seasonal why are you even posting on eternal threads/topics as it doesn’t affect you?

I’m still holding out hope that mythics going to 540 is a bug. I was already annoyed I’d have to re-gear the rest of my pieces, but if I have to re-farm mythics I’ll just stop playing the game. Unless they are gonna let me convert at a one to one. Four to one is not good enough for this specific instance.

Apparently the new non-ancestral gear can only be masterworked to 4/12, has max tempers of 1, and is literally also 50 ilevels higher in other powers than non-ancestral 750s. And ancestrals are currently incredibly rare.
I don’t even care if the game is rebalanced around this, this is not us maintaining the same power level and then gaining more to fight stronger threats; this is nerfing our gear to have the same stats as the current entire spread of 540 to 925 (which is currentl QUITE a difference in power, regardless of how stats get rescaled) and then forcing us to choose between hanging onto our double tempers or swapping out for gimped 540+ to 750, then farming for new gear that basically has the same OPTIONS as what we already have. (I don’t care if the RELATIVE affix power is higher than now.)
I’m livid. I would accept an expansion where I get more powerful by farming actually new gear. Not getting my feet cut off and being expected to climb back up to where I already was.

I understand. Since I never played seasons in D2 or D3, Diablo 4 is my first experience with seasonal gameplay. I didn’t feel any penalty for not playing seasons in D2 and D3, so I can see why so many people are upset about the eternal realm in Diablo 4.

There is absolutely no reason why season-players should mock that. You play the game the way you enjoy it. Games are supposed to be fun.
I only play seasons myself, but there is nothing wrong with your way of playing this game.

The more posts you 3 guys make the worse you look.
It takes a day to relevel, literally one day.
If youre lazy you can even sit at the Blood Maiden and do it in a few hours.
Stop trying to force your opinion on an seasonal based game, you are irrelevant if it hurts your feeling so much go buy an older game like Grim Dawn or Titan Quest and do what you want.

While not ideal, 4:1 for a guaranteed GA is actually worth the craft. If you don’t already have a GA mythic in eternal, you clearly will want to save all sparks until October.
Avenfel, why is a player giving their opinion on a game play mode that already exists irrelevant? I don’t see anything in OP’s post trying to force any change on the seasonal realm mode.
This is a Blizzard expansion. This is how Blizzard expansions work. Sorry you feel mocked. This is just everyday normal for most of us.
Playing the game - and farming up gear - should be fun. You have an opportunity to re-live that fun in October.

You are looking for World of Warcraft.
Farming gear is fun once. Leveling is fun once. Doing it repeatedly is not fun. It makes it all feel irrelevant. Especially when farming an item I’m already wearing that use to be max ilvl but no longer is. That is the developers intentionally wasting my time.

salvage all your old mythics and craft new GA versions when u enter T1, simple

Not at 4 to 1. If they make it 1 for 1 sure. 4 to 1 is not good enough.
I’m not interested in “mocking” you but would like to point out that there are lots of games out there for you. They are full MMOs. Keep all your progression, etc. Why not just select one of the many options they offer?
If you only play (mostly) non-seasonal, why play and post threads about a seasonal game when seasonal games don’t need to affect you since there are so many full MMO options?
its still good enough considering its 800 lvl with at least 1 GA.
i have like one stashtab full of mythics, more than enough to craft usefull 1+ GA mythics for my barb and my rogue.
im more concerned about ancestral unique droprate
