I hope Lilith is not the actual final boss

She’s not final boss material.

She won’t be. There’s a giant hint in one of the main quests that she’s not going to be the final boss.

I don’t think she will be, I don’t even think she’ll end up being a villain honestly… I feel a plot twist coming with her not being so evil.

My favourite line of the quests was when she takes the key that opens the gates of hell and the main character wonders what she will do with it.

Final Boss starts with D. It has something to do with the name of the game.

Diablo again?
I hope he doesn’t have a woman body this time then.

Are you serious? If its NOT going to be Diablo I quit gaming.

I asked like in wondering, not like in annoyed. I just played diablo III and now IV ofc.

What I’m hoping is that they are setting us up to choose between divine daddy or malevolent mommy.

Both seem to have their good and bad, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they leave us with the decision on who to side with, with perhaps a more neutral “screw em both” option as well.

I doubt either of them are going to be the final boss, so that battle scene we see could be a point in which the two engage only for all hell to break loose with the true final boss exposing themselves…postponing their battle and leaving us to choose individually on whom to side woth against this threat.

That wasn’t even the hint I was talking about. I think we actually met the final boss in one of the quests. He was just in disguise.

You can look at the achievements or challenges or whatever they’re called and see what the final boss of each Act is and a little more.

Ive a good idea of the identity of the Blood Wolf.

Might as well call this game Lilith, because it’s not anything like Diablo 1 2 or 3.

This is a very real possibility. If you read the Diablo novels you get a better idea of who and what Lilith is, and she’s not exactly plotting to destroy humanity or the Nephalem.

I had a similar feeling.

I really don’t like that they’re pretty much retconning the lore to make Lilith (seem) evil and to make Inarius an idiot and well…evil.

You don’t even need the books. There’s a lot of lore about Lilith in Diablo 3, in the various lore texts you can find in the game. You get the entire backstory of how Sanctuary was formed.

I don’t think that’s a retcon. Lilith -looks- evil but she’s… odd. I wouldn’t call her a villain.

Inarius has always been an idiot.

i feel like they are going to do inarius dirty.

Though lilith makes everyone turn into death cults and act out their most evil base desires , so I can’t see how she is going to be reformed as the “good guy” in this story.

Meanwhile followers of Inarius burn people at the stake (or worse) for the most trivial of offenses.

I suspect she’s only the Andariel stand-in. Reasoning is that It wouldn’t be a Diablo game without Diablo himself. Never is.
