hardcore is a game mode that when u die u are dead no respawn u keep ur stash but ur character and gear are gone forever rememberd in the hall of heroes so u can see their ghost and their grave has all their deeds and accomplishments its been said and if from what ive seen in diablo 3 is the norm u get better gear easier and overall not that their arent exceptions like the best stat roll has a cap on all gear i enjoy it but i often get frustrated with it i made it too lvl 23 in beta and because of the open map was killed by a level 25 boss vampire in the vampire encampment because i wondered in fought like hell to clear the lvl 23 minions and then just walked into a room were the boss was waiting no boss door just wallked in a building and was in a fight were i couldnt even do real damage after almost ten minutes i died surrounded by minions AOE spells and the bosses direct attacks with no escape because the area became locked as soon as i walked passed the threshold and then had to start all over from the start and it can happen through glitches as well like the monk in 3 could teleport and if u were partnered with them it would drag u to the edge of the barrier wall they warped too and crush ur lvl 70 all legendary demon demon hunter in master tier just because and i know im writing a book but it is the only way i can explain the gameplay in detail it is fun but ot can suck for no more reason than bad luck and oversight by game designers their is no complaining too blizzard to restore ur things or character that was lost due to a fault in the game at 1 point if u were in the game in open world with a partner and went offline ur character was still their and could be killed by monsters that just respawn or whatever it is truly enuff to make u never wanna play again unless u have a good group and a back up plan like staying off line and makeing a backup copy for standard grinding of dungeons and once dead turn off console immediately to prevent save to ur network only go online for events and pvp if this 10 paragraph disclaimer isn’t enuff to explain the gameplay style why and why not too play it doesnt spell it out just go to hardcore game mode when creating ur character and good luck too u sir.
