I actually wouldn’t mind if D4 had a bestiary. For the bosses, it could have their targeted loot listed. Doesn’t have to list percentages, but at least a listing and location. It could be animated, show attacks, have lore, etc. I know some players would definitely appreciate that.
Many players don’t even know where they are located.

Agreed. Hell I’d take a search function on the map if we’re being honest. I don’t remember the location of every dungeon that has my aspects in it. So if the search function included the ability to search for the name of the dungeon and the aspect names it’d be awesome. I don’t see it happening but a man can dream.

I think that you’re right and hopefully they take their own lead on The Codex and expand it. The one thing that I think is amazing about Diablo 4’s codex is that it lists all aspects. You can, within the game, engage the aspect system 100%.
The map and the bestiary should be the same. I don’t know about the loot but I also think that this wouldn’t be a bad thing personally; the end of needing to go to a third party would be nice but probably hurts revenues to do that …
Just so you know this already exists in the game. If you go to the Codex and look at the aspects the aspects that you do not have will tell you the dungeon you need to unlock them. You can even set them as markers on your map.

Not sure we’re talking about the same thing, but if you go to the collections and search for the desired aspect, once you select one which has a low version dungeon variant, there will be a text below to pin on the map, I believe its space maybe?

At this point, Sorc should have an extra Amulet and Ring slot.
Still probably wouldn’t matter…

Admittedly Sorcs look more capable of holding a 2 handed sword over a necromancer. So if our scrawny arms can hold a 2 hander, Sorcs should be able to dual wield 2 2-handers. Barbs would just wield a sword called ‘The World Breaker’ that’s roughly 6 stories tall.

Blizzard’s other major product - World of Warcraft - has done this for a decade+.
Hell, they could copy/paste that interface and it would be perfect
Wait seriously? Wow has a bestiary in game? What expansion came out with this? I stopped around Cataclysm I want to say, or was it the pandas? Whichever one came later.
Yeah, every dungeon and raid boss has an image, a brief bio, a couple combat tips, and a filterable loot table. It is excellent.

But no diablo we have a specific loot. I believe that everything could drop from any boss and have a greater chance of dropping a certain item. Or the item itself has a description, and found in duriel
they have an adventure book and it has not only each beast in the game and each loot it could drop but how to beat it (almost like a step by step what it does and what you should do to counter it)… its kinda cool. You can also toggle between normal, heroic, timewalking loots too (each mode changes the loot slightly).
I stopped playing wow when 60 was the cap many years ago but recently i started playing again and its kinda fun (dragon flying is amazing - this is how d4 mounts should work). They are adding a “DRIVE” mount in the next major release which should like its going to be dragon flying speeds on the ground mounts (goblin racing car that you can customize and add mods too).
Im looking forward to some goblin driftin
