I’m not sure they’re really that hard to get and ever warranted the “having to ask what’s the best way to get” question that inevitably a cohort is asking about one thing or another perceiving a need to fast track any one thing.
Pop pots, do stuff in the various dungeons. They just come along the way of doing other stuff.
People complain there’s nothing to do, it’s over simplified, my build which I copied from a full time player performs to easily, etc, etc… then go looking for a way to go min max the next hurdle on their way to the fast track.
Just play imo.
It’s a decent game if you just play… notwithstanding a few issues atm with quality control and a need to manage the impacts of having introduced player trading better.
If people get bored after a while in the season, fear not, they’ve designed for consumptive style and will spawn a “new game” with the next season. Like they were clear about this early on in talks and it resurfaces when the boss guy goes out to the media. Just play another game for a while… there’s plenty to choose from and they seem to intend that.
In answer to the question. I think it’s kind of who cares… they’re just short changing themselves on playing the game… kind of like botting when it had no point before trading.
