Just block/ignore the obvious trolls, you will be far better off.
Click on their icon, view activity and there is a drop down box on the right that says normal.
Set that to ignored. And you can pick the timeframe.

No problem the forums are for everyone, some of these children need serious moderation, but it seems that is low priority right now. So ignore is the only option.
It’s impossible for him to block himself though, no? 
The beauty of the feature is anyone can block anyone they don’t like. So you can make your own forum experience.
Yeah, I don’t want objectives either, especially rescuing 7 different prisoners or killing 8 different mobs to pick up their anima or whatever. I just wanna kill stuff and rush to the boss for the good loot. Snipe some elite packs on the way. That’s Diablo. That’s an ARPG. Lesssgo Blizz, c’mon.

Welcome to the epiphany club friend. We expected exceptional and received mediocre, that is the heart of all feedback. D4 is not a bad game, but neither does it stand out in any way. It is strictly average in every respect, hence the disappointment from those who expected more.
The graphics are exceptional in 4k.

Especially since POE 2 is going to be f2p and I’m not really a fan of POE but it just makes D4 seem more like a waste of money and a paid battle pass even less of a value.
I believe it may be, because D4 isn’t really finished yet. I think they started working on D4 after the DI “do you guys not have phones” fiasco. So, they may not have had much time to make the game. You’ll prob enjoy the game, after the first or 2nd expansion comes out. After they get done nerfing everything that people actually want to do.

It’s got the same problem most open world games have. There’s hundreds of individual instances of things to do, but they’re all the same 5-10 things over and over again. Once you’ve experienced each of those 5-10 things a couple of times, the interest wears off and suddenly there’s nothing to do.

Couldn’t agree more. “Power leveling is fun.” How exactly is leveling to max level in 20 minutes fun? It’s a ridiculous concept. Why even have levels at that point? It’s a matter of taste… and OP’s matter of taste is simply horrible.
It’s not that D4 doesn’t have some issues that need worked out, but making it any more like D3 couldn’t be going any more in the wrong direction if they tried.
I’m not going to say OP’s taste is horrible. Everyone’s differs. That is fine.
But comparing to D3 is a mistake. This game is not trying to be like D3.
After a certain point, every diablo game is only played by those who only want the endgame.
D3 (and the predecessors) had a phase where people played for the leveling experience. Once that phase passed, they made it possible to effectively skip it.
The same thing will happen here. It’s just a matter of time.
For me its the loot, I could handle the monotony of the grind if there was interesting loot.
I like most people have had the same aspects since level 30 and just keep swapping them onto new better rares.
So no matter what legendary drops, you literally do not care. Finally getting a certain item to drop after a long farm is the whole reason ARPGs work. The carrot on a stick.
In Diablo 4, barring a handful of exceptional uniques and ancestral, the vast vast majority of loot is ubiquitous and not remotely fun to acquire.

You know it’s inevitable I mean sacred and ancestral items already rain down from the sky, the only thing keeping it from being D3 easy mode is travel and they already said thats changing in the coming weeks.
I find it hilarious that so many people got over the open world thing so quickly that they’re already planning a change that’ll let people skip it.
