The only reward from AoZ is a glyph…that I only need in AoZ.
Why not have some decent loot there too when this is the hardest content in the game?
I just dont understand the theory behind this. Why make this content and then be super stingy with the loot?? Let the final bosses explode in loot with higher tiers giving iLevel 925 and a (low) chance at uber uniques. Then people might want to actually do it.
Your over thinking it, the glyph is op. No loot can replace it once it leveled
The super broken builds had no content to test their builds on. That’s what it boils down to. And shaking things up to give people something else to do along with the new seasonal event. But in a lot of the cases, to get ahead it comes down to skill and not just the build or gear.
The purpose is after you clear all content and have your toon nearly maxed to have something to push until season 3, I like the play style of my character and pushing leveling the glyph is the only fun I have at the moment in the game…
In this game?? Hardly. Elden Ring takes practice and skill. In D4, you’re either alive or one-shotted, mostly dependant on build, gear and luck. If you’re telling yourself otherwise, you’re deluding yourself.
AoZ is for players who have characters that they want to hold onto, but do not want to make another character atm and they have finished all of the other content. Players who like to “Daft Punk” their characters (go harder, better, faster, stronger) with their characters will appreciate AoZ more than many other players.
End game plus content with a theme like AoZ is usually limited in rewards; you have everything else for your character/build (or mostly), so what more do you need? Remember, the glyph will be useless after the season is over (unless the devs allow it to stay and just water it down). If the content was end game plus for the main storyline, then I could see asking for more and better rewards from the devs.
I thought the purpose was to show me how bored I am with D4 and get me to stop playing it. :D.
