but the youtube and twitch streamers can play 50 hours a day and make those kinds of suggestions to the developers.
the developers listened and nerfed exp and loot, buffed tier monsters in exponential way, and rolled it all out in season 8.
then you get streamers and developers praising each other for job well done through respective’s reviews and campfire.
I can help you out with gearing if you want (if you play Barb or Druid). A lot of times people are just unaware of what gear choices make a huge difference.
I thought one of my builds capped out at hitting 500m. Made some upgrades to my gear (with legendaries) and now that build can hit for 20b.
I don’t understand either - why is this one small segment of D4 players being catered to??
I’ve been around since the internet began and when you played a game you had FUN…then you completed it and were happy as a clam.
What are Battle net’s objectives here …don’t see that they are making money by prolonging our playing a season…can’t imagine they make much money from people using their servers day after day. I just don’t get it.
If you notice, all the people constantly yammering about things being too easy in this game seem to have lots of postings on this forum…why is this? Do they work for Battle net, do they work for a rival game company? They are pushing the rest of us out of this game.

Absolutely agree with this…this mindless grinding is ridiculous.
Yeah bro, I totally work for Blizzard, ya know the company I think is super scummy and also doesn’t listen to player feedback. Yeah… totally.
Also I don’t think I’ve ever posted about the game “being too easy.” If you’re talking about me posting that non-meta builds are viable, which they are, I invite you to quote me and bring up any counter argument you can think of.
Also don’t be surprised if your post gets flagged. Not by me cause I could care less, but pretty sure you’re breaking some ToS with that post.
Not a bad idea, considering Eternal is in a rough spot after s8 changes. Personally I’d made those potions craftable at the alchemist at a certain materials costs
Can I have your cube by the window if you are leaving??
If you’re talking about adding overpower, then it doesn’t count. Overpower is meta. If you have to add overpower to make a build do bosses in T4, it’s not an off meta build anymore…. it’s an overpower build with off meta skills.
The philosophy is to create a game that will drag money out of your bank account as efficiently as possible.
Not to create a game with the story, characters, loot grind, complexity, and competition you deserve.
Convinced Blizzard’s diablo team is a bunch of paycheck drones who don’t even game. Just going to work for the paycheck.
Which build is that with?
Para 100-250 or so should be making a difference with defences, bringing glyphs online, dps.
They deifnitely made it harder this season, but even if you cant play 8 hours a day, you can still hit T4 just fine. My playtime since launch average out to around 2 hours a day (i have played 80 hours thus far, but that also factors in inactivity).
Ngl, I had to make a point to farm T2 for a while before jumping up to T3 and T4. Thamkfully, boss mats and boss mat tributes are so plentiful that i could farm bosses on T2 and not feel bad about burning them (this is all as self found) to get more build enabling gear before jumping up tiers.
And this was all with not following a guide. Do you have the proper uniques for your build? There is nothing wrong with farming at lower tiers for ease. Or if committed to a build, levelling up glyphs for it
I don’t get your argument op. Why can’t you just stop and T3 and be done for the season? Let’s say you make it to T4 then what? You will still be done. There won’t be anything for you beyond T4 and you would be complaining of the same thing.
I’ve finally decided that I am going to go with the idea of “Gamer’s Fatigue”. GF is when a game doesn’t properly end. You don’t realize that T1 is it. There is no point to T2 let alone 3 and 4. They’re the same thing, just slightly harder, so when you’re looking for power at the T3 level you’re farming more efficiently (more stuff) but not more effectively (actually greater items) which, to their credit, they said they would fix in S9.
I just want you to know that you are definitely not alone. Everyone is suffering from this. This game is a strange experiment that should be shut down because it is literally psychologically frustrating to never have a distinct end to the game that is clear. You never actually feel like you beat the game, ever! It’s horrible.
Oh forums are on fire with mass disappointment! Where have you been? They might have to clone you so you can respond to them all!
But most of the people who post on any forum for any game are there to vent though. It’s only steam player numbers that will tell you anything.
Wel sure, but my main point here is that the most fun in the game comes from an ability to continue to grow stronger. There just doesn’t seem to be the scaling needed to keep me invested in the game. I mean what is the point in grinding for gear that will be nerfed, for a build that will be nerfed. for a Tier ill probably never be able to do anyway. I’m running a Cataclysm build for Druid and haven’t found any 2 GA for most of my gear. Just 4 GA’s for Unique’s no one ever uses.
Its feels that by saying “there isnt enough time to complete the season”, they can justify quitting because the game made them do it. Tbf, if you already are casual and you spread your time over multiple games, then it is probably true. I only play diablo, so even 14 hours average a week are fairly significant, but even then, 2 months is plenty of time to finish IF YOU WANTED TO.
There is no point. It’s a game. Play it or do something else. If this is too time consuming for you, try a shallower mobile game.
They make the most BP and cosmetic purchases then white knight anything with which they do not agree.
Those games had to stand on their merits as a one time sale game. Modern game companies won’t take that much risk.
Basic marketing is the longer you play game A the less time you spend playing game B and game C giving game A the bigger chance to get the sale. It is all about marketing. They could not care less about D4 or even what they say about it.
Typically they are Blizz bot accounts, paid shills or basement dwellers/trolls with nothing better to do. It is their way or you get the heat.
The reality is those who post in the forums only represent less than 1/10 of 1% of the overall playerbase. You shouldn’t be concerned with anything they think as they rarely do.
