This doesn’t work for all of them:

My side-quests completion for each zone is:
Hawezar: 44/49
Fractured Peaks: 34/35
Scosglen: 45/47
Dry Steppes: 38/38
Kehjistan: 44/44

very normal process. Destiny 2 lives and dies by 3rd party support, it would die without the community’s work.
I can tell you that for Fractured Peaks, just hit all the mining nodes, eventually you’ll get a quest drop for frost something. I can’t remember. 35/35 now.
The rest I’m in the same boat as you. No clue, no help, game needs to be fixed.
Is there something preventing you from moving your character around the map? If not, then yes, you are in fact a troll.
All of your missing quests are drops from mobs, bodies on the ground, mining, or harvesting herbs. I was in the same position until I started digging.
There are threads on this forum that show you which ones they are, where they found them. I just started and lo and behold they dropped. One is a bottle you can easily miss on the shore up North, barely visible.
My hero!
Thank you
Technology isn’t there yet.
Notepad is the ultimate tool for tracking completed quests. After 3 weeks and hundreds of alt+tabs, I finished all the quests and altars today.
Note: you only need to write down the names of quests that start from drops.
That’s cool and all, but doesn’t help that I wasn’t aware of this from the start. I’m missing just a handful of quests, and no idea where exactly to look.
But that shouldn’t be the way it works. if they want us to discover, fine. At least enable the completed ones…
The more this game goes on with all their mistakes (Shako for a big one!) The more I’m disappointed and see this game as a cash grab only.
I play Diablo 1 and got enticed to buy all the franchise one, as a reminisce of my passed away Dad (he was a huge D2 fan, not the remastered one, he was gone)
But now… Blizzard no matter what they do, begins to feel like Ubisoft… no real substance…
Heck I’m even tempted to get Baldur’s Gate 3 even if 2 guys make out with each other, one as a bear… (joking I won’t ever.)
There are some quests you can’t do once you’ve completed the main campaign.
Unfortunately you need to decide to try do them all as you go and over level or wait til the end to make levelling past 50 easier but at the expense of some no longer available quests
I would recommend pulling up the wiki too it took me awhile with a guide on where all the dungeon quests start before I got most of them, all thats left is ones that drop as items. here the thread I used for dungeon quests and there quest chains that lead to them hope that helps. Hi, same here. Just going around randomly looking for them is very boring. And we waited 10 years for this game? Diablo 4 could be a fantastic game if the main story had more lore, and more “meat” amongst other things.
i personally won’t say poorly designed, just not thoroughly thought through.
even in WoW there is addons by now that would help.
well i know i have 1 quest left and its a drop to complete 1 zone before going to another zone(Seasonal Character) i think i’m farming for the correct 1.
3 days now, with 3 game crashes. thinking of going over to the other 1 i think it might be. Good luck on the OCD Completion i know mine will be Annoying.
It’s weird. I play eternal and I have all the quests completed, in map achievements, and 100% in listed collections. But I found one the other day having to do with paladins. Got the old school shield from it. Guess they added new ones for season? Yet it didn’t update my completed to NOT completed (100% updated to 98%, or whatever). So you can have 100% everywhere and still have quests lurking out there. I’m proof of that.
Yeah. WoW, HotS, D3, and D4 have all allowed it.
Lost Ark has this. Diablo does not. Sorry.
nah, that was in the game as soon as it launched. i had that one finished before season 1 started.
Maybe they just removed the hidden quests that you have to find in the world in each region?
That would be nice since they are impossible to track. Well, unless you started keeping track of those from the start that is.
There are mobs that drop an item that will start a side quest. These mobs do NOT show as a side quest on the map. But the locations shown on d4builds are correct. Kill some mobs there and item should drop.
