How many glyph are you using?

All the builds I have seen for sorc use 7. They just speedrun boards for most part. Same as its always been because most the keystones are in bad spots and are not worth it.

Nobody ever gets the enchantment master keystone as an example. Nevar!

Depending on build. Usually 6 is the normal for end game and sometimes stretch to 7 if applicable for extreme / tight spec

I think I tried it once and the LHC chance for meteor proc went from 8% to 10% lol…

I’m deffo doing it wrong then trying to get as much as possible on 4-5 boards only.

Yah as I recall the nodes next to it are trash as well. Like potion healing or some garbagio.

On sorc using 7 tho was super fast leveling them so wasnt really a grind for progression.

6 to 7. Fill those buckets

usually 3 sometimes 4

One of the sorc builds I use for certain things is 8. Some classes cant. I would not recommended even attempting it as its very specialized and only strong at very few things as your giving up a key leggy node to get it. Stick to 6-7 as I mentioned.

Typically 5 when I make my own boards. Most guides have 6 and sometimes I will plug a guide board into my custom build to avoid breaking my own head as I did with my S3 blizzard+FO sorc. I took the boards from one build with glyphs from another and arranged them on different boards. It smoked NM100 easily.

With DR hard to come by now though and paragon glyphs being one of the best sources of it, you need to squeeze out as many glyphs as you can. They need to rework the legendary nodes a bit to give players better options.

I use 5 or 6 depending on build.

So I did a build experiment yesterday that I always wanted to try. Is it better to have only five glyphs and a majority of the Rare and Magic nodes on your paragon boards or go the meta route and have at least seven glyphs and ignore most of those secondary nodes?

I already knew the answer was seven or more, but I wanted to play both versions and see for myself. It’s starkly clear after playing both versions that having more Glyphs is the best option. It wasn’t even close. That means the Rare and Magic nodes are nice to have activated, but they shouldn’t be prioritized over getting more Glyph nodes activated.

It’s the power of multiplicative buffs you get from the Glyphs’ enhanced powers over additive buffs you get from the Rare and Magic nodes.

You skip Legendary powers. Most aren’t needed, and eat up 20-40 Paragon to obtain them. Glyphs (especially due to leveling up to 21) usually offer far more power.

With the All Stat changes, the goal isn’t even hitting the secondary Glyph powers anymore.

7

Currently 8 in my sorc and 7 in other classes.
Sorcerer is a crap this season.

my sorc build uses 8 (yes 8 glyphs!) one board is very thin to get the 8th haha my druid is using 7 and my barb is using 6 (hes not 100 yet)

Paragon boards need to be revamped if skipping most stuff just to add in as much glyphs as possible is the best way to do things.

stiffling creativity… that defeats the purpose of letting us rotate boards and put points where we want… i guess you would also be happen if we only had rocks and sticks to fight with in loin cloths

I’m not sure how the boards being so weak that it’s best to just stack the same few glyphs you’d use for your class is creative.

On barb most seem like I need them, but I’ll take a look again.

I recently made my Double Swing build into 5 glyphs from 4 but I feel so stretched already and did take out one leggo power.
I also switched up some glyphs where I found I could get more of the 5 str/dex/int around said socket.

How do we figure out the math between how many rare/magic cluster nodes are better than a 21 glyph?

I’ll be entirely honest, my entire interaction with the glyph board has been directly copying guides written by people who think staring at the glyph board for more than 5 minutes a season is fun.

No idea how many glyphs I’ve got on each character. 5-7 sounds right.
