How do you know your character is ready for t4

If you can do Pit 60, get your glyphs to level 50. That should help with damage. Tyreal’s MIght can cover for resistance. You’re going to need to roll Armor then temper in Total Armor as well as putting skull in jewelry just to hit the 1000 Armor cap for T4.

Chance for T bosses to drop mythic in T4 is same or significantly better than on T1?

wow, wow … bosses and farming T4 not necessarily same thing
imo if you want test your ability to farm bosses of T4 I have person ladder of easy-hard
Easiest of all - Gregori, there is one little trick in S6 (don’t get hit by electric field at the start of combat
Second easiest … (surprise! ) is Duriel - just don’t get tanked by him on the second phase of fight
Third (technically you can this one easiest but …) Varshan - start of fight have 2 options either “death field” or minions. If fight starts with minions - its easy win and just straight kill, if Varshan start with death field (it still easy but require be patient) - run into clear spot and move - once you survive splash attack … Varshan as good as dead
Zir/Beast both got in S6 rather unpleasant 1-shot attacks not to hard to learn just hard to avoid if you are spamming melee attacks.
Andi was always most unpleasant one - couple tricks - for one don’t kill her to fast - do like 50-60% damage and let script play … after that make her come after you and after that you can kill her within single attack. If you are trying to 1-shot her she usually drops down to ~5% of life and trigger several scripts at once … still doable but annoying as hell

probably will roll total armor on my amulet. right now using the talisman, but from the videos it looks like i don’t need it because of bash and the paragon node

I’m playing a frenzy twister Barb for fun. Ripping T3 pretty easily, but locked out of T4 for a while still. Got my glyphs to level 52 right now, 2GA Andy’s, 3GA Ross, 2GA Rakanoth, 2 GA shard of Verathiel all MW to 12. What I am missing are regular GA pieces and high level aspects to push the T4 barrier.

The build is super tanky and can stand in a poison puddle while taking multiple lighting obelisks. The problem is damage, more specifically the amount of extra HP plus defensive aura mobs that the pit is loaded with. Almost every mob has one, the other and many have both. It doesn’t make the game hard, it just makes it tedious.

Reduce the quantity of those mobs and more builds will be able to access T4.

Look honestly within your soul and ask yourself - are you a spiritborn? If yes, then you were born ready, the light shone upon you in the character selection screen. If not than consult your seasonal build tier table - is what you are playing the same or most closely related to an S or A ranked build? If so then you may use your own benchmarks from your post as they will be reasonably accurate. If however whatever build you are playing should happen to be ranked B or lower, then no, you arent and will never be, ready, no reason to check or grind for anything.

tier 3 is easy. when t3 is easy you’ll be ready for 4. check your resistances and armor upon getting to a new tier

If you can survive the Butcher.

-You are ready for NMD’s and below in T4 when everything dies on contact in T3 and you
feel tanky.

-You are ready for T4 hordes when T4 NMDs feel like T3 did in the step above.

-I don’t know what it’s like to be ready for T4 bosses, because I’m not playing spiritborn.

I think the biggest advantage of T4 is Obducite farming in NMD’s. You get at least twice as much, and it’s a low bar to make them comfortable.

Even for a spirit born t3 to t4 sucked but this was like day 2 of the expansion lol. I can only imagine the steep change for a new person on anything not a Necro or SB atm

Get a Tyreal’s might to drop.

I play Rogue but because it can’t do higher tier Pits I got suckered into making a SB and within 2 days was clearing Pits higher than my Rogue could ever hoped to…but hating every minute of it. Went back to Rogue. As it says in The Lord of the Rings, " I passed the test. I shall diminish and go into the West and remain Galadriel".

Yeah… that’s what it works out as… the actual text in game says something like “lose 25% of your armor” but it means “lose 25% of your CAPPED armor” per torment. So if you’re at 800 you lose 200 going to T1. Which is pretty silly. But if you’re 1500 going to T1 you only lose 25% of the cap (1000) so it shows 1250 in your stat sheet. And at T4 you lose 100% of 1000 from your armor so anything over 2000 hits the 1000 cap.

How fast can you complete a Pit 65?
Can you easily kill a hellborne in helltide? If so, then you belong in T4.

The same way you knew you were ready for T1, T2, and T3

I think at the very least if he can clear Pit 65 ultra fast then he is more than ready.

If he wants to be 100% sure, if he can cleart Pit 150 in 2 mins, he is probably ready for T4.

no i’m not a SB, i’m a barb 4 life. I find that if i played SB then everything will be easy and that gets boring.
