we saw someone getting scammed on discord. why not organize some parties here?

i for example got the mats for a run =)

Unless you on playstation plenty of things like that going on. Xbox group tool for example gots alot going on. I am on playstation but friend on xbox. He got use like 20 free duriel runs carrying people that couldnt do it themselves.

It does but pc players are usually too good for consoles stuff. PC gamed back in the golden age of pc gaming 1995 to 2012 consoles rule now.

Typically ignorant and inflammatory garbage like this is spouted off by console fanboys whining about controller vs M&K or some equally stupid non-issue for non-competitive PVE games and will openly run their mouth with canned responses like ā€œim not reading all of thatā€ to a single word callout over text.

Canā€™t blame anyone for not wanting to put up with that low iq urbanite bullsh eet.

Would not hear that from me. M/K superior hands down in a shooter. In diablo games not so much.
And i was gaming before you was born I do not prefer either. Just a fact consoles getting more now. MMOs are dead since like Woltk and the Rift going f2p. ANd never play shooters on PC it is like playing on easy difficulty.

I would totally join you, but Iā€™m no where near of level yet, highest character so far is 61 rogue I want to say and havenā€™t had much time to play this week at all. Next week should be better for me, hope to hit WT4 and get some gear.

Iā€™ve yet to fight any bosses though. I have the mats to fight Varshan and I have about 4 or 5 living steel at the moment but thatā€™s it.

Plenty out there and yes you can find them in the xbox group tool too. But i get it Diablo a very unsocial game obviously. Like 1 in a 100 people that join a group use voice chat.
But you got just as much chance getting scammed in anything else as the discord. Tip though. Only group with those in voice chat. If they sound like a castrated chipmunk they probably a scammer.
Better tip is to just get a static group that plays as much as you do. Like mine usually farms up 5 runs a day so 20 for the group.

Shouldnā€™t need any help but I do appreciate the offer. I just need the time to get into the game, get some levels and get it done. My gear is fine for what I need until I hit WT4. Itā€™s nothing spectacular but I donā€™t foresee myself having any issues with the capstone dungeon. I know Iā€™ll have to work on resists soon as I hit WT4 though.

who needs voice chat in diablo tho? i mean, personally i talk to rl friends while gaming. during my wow times i of course needed to talk to people :open_mouth:

Resists still not that important really. Armor still king. Most elemental things that kill you ignore resists i swear. Poison on the ground and fire explosions hit me just as hard at 75 resist as it did at 0

Dont need it. But you said you were worried about scammers. It is a good filter since 99 percent of scammers are 14 or younger.

Believe me they help but not that important. I can run a t100 in about 45 secs I take off 3-4k armor i die ALOT, I take off 40 resists i barely notice the damage difference.

I miss the ā€˜Tradeā€™ sub forum for Diablo(2).
Was actually a fun and very active place pre and during early jsp before it became a unique niche successful money monster.
We had the standard lfg, simple trades, price checks, big trades etc.

Wouldnā€™t be a bad thing to at least make one here(a subforum) and see where it goes.
Iā€™m sitting on mats Iā€™d rather not waste, a dead clan, sparse~inactive friends list and Iā€™d much rather do a 4x4 than 1xā€¦1xā€¦1.

armor doesnt contribute to resistances anymore. (or at least just a little)

long story short, anyone up for a duriel party?

i of course wont scam ( we all use our own mats, i start), and heck if i did, i couldnt be here ^^

You seen world chat in modern games? Would be just something you would have to turn off.
