MAKE GAME EASIER
More theirs than yours.
All the ideas that aren’t ridiculous (again, there are probably over 4 or 5 hours of music in this game) are just Diablo II. Which everyone can already buy and play at any time. With comparable graphics.
So? Remove all cds. There are like no cds in d1. Why do you care how I play?
problem is no arpg not even poe 2 gona live 10 years like diablo 4 does, so not really motivating to try anything else
Game is easier than any other diablo game. Like actually. D1 much harder, d2 much harder, d3 on release inferno.
Then why do you want to make it easier?
The first 8 levels of the dungeon in Diablo 1 are literally nothing but auto-clicking basic attacks, unless you are a Sorcerer, or a masochist who wants to cast spells on a Warrior.
Cause hitting a pack of white mobs three times as much isnt fun.
Yeah dont hire this guy.
I have 1 useful item at least.
I am willing t concede reducing damage isnt good done flat. But the random one shot in endgame doesn’t work either, now does it
If we wanted to spam two skills and chug mana potions, there is a direct competitor who does that quite well.
I think MickeyD’s is hiring.
Mana leeh, mana stats. Original way of regaining ressources. Refer to my other work break post.
Like, at a certain point you have to move on from the gameplay loop of “port to town and put 16 mana potions in your belt, and when you run out, port back and restock”.
Refer to my other post about nice ways of regaining ressources for further details.
I think it would be legitimately hilarious to have 2023 forum posters discover early-game Diablo II resource scarcity without any prior knowledge of the game, and see what kind of fit they would throw.
Barbarian: no cost, juggling 4 weapons like Doom Eternal for different effects application, enemy types, resistances, weakness etc
Sorceress: Alternating between regenerative states and aggressive states and building your mana pool to maximize long sequences of casting.
Necromancer: use your own life as extra mana.
Druid: consumes corpses with vine creeper.
Rogue: has a potion belt and recharges it through life/mana leech on attack or traps.
That is literally how the Sorceress currently works.
