They said only for Season 4 because of the scale of the content. Might not be for all seasons they said.

How to say we dont know what we are doing without saying we dont know what we are doing.

This is probably the smartest thing they have done since launch hands down.

The chances of it causing the game to be better are much higher now.

The question I have about this will it be a file you need to download or an update on the actual game because console players need to be able to do this

Probably PC only as you would have to download the PTR version. Dont quote me on that tho.

It will be a different environment to connect to.
That is how Overwatch used to do it.

So you will have a drop down of some kind on the launcher that will let you select Diablo4 or Diablo 4 PTR.

as irres said, im pretty sure youll have to download some extra files. if it works the same as wow, youll just be able to switch from wow d4 (regulary game client) to d4 (ptr client) in the bnet launcher.

I get what you’re all saying but as I said it needs to be console too and no reason why it can’t be a main menu login on console when it’s available.

not sure why its not on console, but from what i can imagine it might be a “stuff needs to be approved when it comes to a console” thingy.

Then get approval :joy: if you’re building a house for someone you ask the owners approval to add a toilet don’t you? Oh I get it, too much work for blizz to do that you need 1900 staff and now they only have 1000

i doubt its that easy bud. many releases had their troubles when it came to crosplatform releases and licenses. one of the of the recent ones being palworld. the xbox game pass version is as far as i know still behind the steam version for example. ^^

im for sure not an expert, but yea, im sure there will be a reason why its only for pc bnet
