I dont care if it is as bugged as they say or/if they are going to butcher it with nerfs or make it shoot bad (you see what I did here?) but I am enjoyin the burnin hell out of this build.
Its just amazing, it not only does satisfy the fantasy of an archer but it also presents to you the ability to use the different ''roguish" tools. And yeah, I am not speaking of the end end game you see on the videos of some people running 130 pit, I mean all the way to that level.
You are essentially agile sharp shooter whoās āmanyā arrows autoaim and create explosions upon contact. If you get into a āmessā, you have a variety of movement perks you can pretty much shuffle between. Meanwhile those arrows are just shredding.
We need more builds like this, not only for Rogue, for every fan of the vicious hack and slash, bloodthirsty combat.
(Rogue class design is generally good, the class is just fun to play even when you are stomped in terms of build variety and viability)
Heartseeker has been a perfect āconsoleā build because of the āhomingā missiles. If only Devs could add an aspect that splits the arrow into 3-5 for better coverageā¦
Idk man, are you sure you wonāt care if this gets nerfed? This build was technically already in the game since releaseā¦but once they buffed Victimize, allowed Victimize to damage double-dip, buffed basic skill damage aspects through the roof, and added chances for them to cast twice all of a sudden you just like the playstyle and has nothing to do with how powerful it is?
Iām not throwing a stone from a glass house either, Iām playing the one and only F-tier Rogue build- Flurry. It would be nice if all Rogue builds were as viable.
The only buff to Victimize was increasing the lucky hit chance to proc from 45% to 50%. I tried Victimize last season when both Moonrise & Adaptability were available. It was very lackluster. From what I understand they werenāt used in the damage calculation of the explosion similar to what Iāve seen regarding Paingorgerās Gauntlets. Stands to figure that fixing a missing 5.72 multiplier would super charge the build. Also, regarding the ādouble dippingā, with the exception of the Exploit passive you need to debuff the secondary targets in order for them to apply. Seems like thatās working as intended so if itās overperforming itās possible the multiplier may get dialed down.
On an aside, although thereās no mention of it is it possible that the scaling of poison imbue was fixed in the same way as Victimize? The druid wind shear poison indicates that it works for that build, but I havenāt seen anything about it from any rogues.
If they were to āfixā it they better be doing it along with all of the other class specific bugs in the game. They left Esuās Verocity bugged all of last season and then for season 4 have Vyrās bugged in the exact same way (applying to all elements and not just the one specified). Granted they still completely ruined sorc in general.
At least if they fix it do something else to buff it. Because otherwise itās just going to be another boring season of the Barb and now stand around and do nothing necro.
So your argument is āif you liked it you wouldāve been playing it back when it wasnāt even able to clear tier 1 dungeonsā? Lmao.
Edit: itās a really fun build AND itās the ONLY actually viable rogue build. It doesnāt need to be nerfed, every single other aspect of rogues needs to be buffed.
IDK if ot got nurfed but something changed today. I cleared a pit tier 102 with plenty of time to go. Tried a tier 104 and couldnāt make a dent before getting killed. But then, i went back to speed clearing a tier 90 and couldnāt do it! Dropped to a tier 75 and barely made the bonus. Not sure what happed but the pit got hard and the heartseeker got weaker.
If the build āworksā or āover performsā it wonāt be playable next season, lightning orb sorc, Iām looking at you. Best enjoy it while itās still in the game.
Rogues constantly get nerfd and nursing else gets buffed. Very sad. Blizzard hates rogues. Shame itās the only fun class in this game. Probably be quitting time for another few seasons until they get their sht together.
Rogue was my first class because I loved playing a ranged Amazon in D2 and a Demon Hunter in D3. Iām having a blast with this build. I love it for its simplicity and it feels great as a controller player. Itāll probably get nerfed but I hope they donāt render it useless.
Imbuements are neat but it feels annoying having to constantly reapply them - so itās nice to have a well performing rogue build that doesnāt need them.
