Has anyone taken/seen a visual poll on the S11 PTR?

Edit: I want to apologize for this wordy post, but I just wanted to see if there was a poll because reading everybody counter one another about what should and shouldn’t be changed was a little tedious and a poll was cleaner. And speaking of tedious if you want to read the details, proceed on.

SEASON 11: Love, Hate, Hate, Love, Hate, Love, Hate, Nerf It, Don’t Nerf It. While I love reading all the drama of everyone’s back and forth of better/worse, smart/dumb, reasonable/unreasonable, leaving/staying, fanboi/levelheaded, proof/no-proof, concerned/not-concerned wordy opinions of what’s happening with the game state at the moment, I have one question. Has anybody taken or seen a poll done on what everybody really thinks of the PTR so far?

Pure Diablo dot com stopped after season 9. I mean, don’t get me wrong. As a Diablo fan I love the verbal red hot iron sticks we faceless, anonymous, cowardly, ghouls poke each other with to make our points known as to why we Love/Hate what is happening right now. BUT, since I’m a visual person, wouldn’t multiple straight lines of a varied length truly based on anonymity show what we as a community really think?

With innovative categories such as: I like it, and I don’t like it, and of course my fav, I want to vom.. I mean.. I’ll wait and see. I like that one especially so I don’t fully commit until I know the the majority consensus (Im very cowardly and want everyone to like me…hahaha just kidding).

Anyhooo, if anybody knows how to do that and link it, I think it would give us “all” (Blizzard) a better perspective of what we think of SEASON (H)ELLEVEN (yep that was AI)! Also happy hallowe.. oh were not doing a seasonal thing in D4 (Mother’s Blessing doesn’t count for you class clowns out there!:rofl: ). Is it because technically the Diablo universe is always Halloween? So deep. :laughing: I know its extremely simplistic, but sometimes simple is good. Ouote: Simple Jack

Only reading about 5 of your sentences, I haven’t seen any polls about anything.

On another note, please press the “ENTER KEY” in-between your sentences, just a few. it really helps with reading and spacing.

It’s hard to gauge reactions as usually people post negative feedback and don’t post the positive.

Personally I liked most of it except the early stages of leveling. That was bad enough that it may give me pause before starting the season.

Just to add to the paragraphs comment. I stopped reading after a few lines too. Wall of text posts, especially if I’m reading it on my phone, just don’t work without some visual breaks.

dear lord. Why such a thread for a simple question?

No, there hasnt been a poll. Why should there be one? Do we want the candy crush community decide on which changes are made to the game?

C’mon, that’s a little negative doncha think? There are people who truly love the Diablo franchise despite our differences. Another reason a poll is best. It eliminates comments like this. I get it though, if the majority wanted candy crush mechanics it would make you sad. Is there a game you like better than Diablo that you have over 17K comments in their forums that’s more positive? And what I mean by positive is you enjoy the experience it gives you.

I am sure you are a nice person outside the game and when your not posting on the boards, BUT when you post do you have to make snide comments to everyone you disagree with. All most every post you make it seams you have to put down people you disagree with. It’s getting very tiresome. Please change your posting habbits and be nice for a change! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Question with a question deflection tactic huh? Ok, In all honesty yes and no because Diablo is really my only live service game coming from D1 and D2. I was genuinely upset I needed an internet connection for D3 because I didn’t really understand why that was needed for a “single” player game. The nerfs in Diablo upset me because I do play up to high paragon levels and then they obliterate all the time I put into my character, because somebody finger waived that its was too this or too that. Kind of feels like like no one takes into account how long it took me to accomplish what I did.

My favorite games are anything Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, and Soulslike games, so since they’re console ports I play on PC they dont really get patched like Ive experienced with the Diablo franchise. Although I am thinking about exploring POE and LE.

I cheat with a trainer on Call Duty to mow down zombies and play the hell out of Final Fantasy. As a matter of fact, in FF Im the person that will kill hundreds of thousands of enemies in the first stage to essentially be GODLIKE before even starting the game, and put hundreds of hours exploring side quests and chocobo races. :rofl: So Im no stranger to the grind, its the “balance” part I dont get. Im just used to a class being its own unique class. Like SMB 2, the princess floats far, Toad is fast, Mario is slow “balanced”, and Luigi sucks. :smiley:

I have seen polls (not published but sent via email link) that asked my opinion on things about the game. Havent gotten one in awhile. This is probably what he was referring to.

If looking for an actual poll that is published, there isnt one and likely wont be one. S11, play it, dont play it. There is a choice.
