Hardcore is not hardcore in D4

You dont even see how much of the koolaide you have consumed. Its sad really.

I don’t even know what this means. You love using buzzwords thou.

Well that because you are like 14 then. Its a pretty common saying. Its a reference to cults/being nothing but a follower blindly accepting whats said or done. While you’re googling delusional and local psychiatric help, toss that on in there too kiddo.

You are so stuck on this follower thing. It’s sad really. I told you my opinion on the elixir, I told you what hardcore has universally meant in games, but it doesn’t matter. Because well, you were the first one to reply in the thread so you had your opinion from the start that you disagreed with me.

Just admit it, you want hardcore without the fear of dying.

Here’s the thing OP, your opinion is garbage and nobody cares what you think. =P

Now you are stuck in a circle because you have zero capability to think for yourself, so you revert to something thats already been addressed.

If you are older than 14, please for the sake of society, put yourself through some form of basic free education.

If you arent, start taking whats being given to you a little more seriously. You are failing at ingesting whats being given.

I accept your opinion of my opinion

I know you addressed it but why should I believe you? You don’t believe me.

So either you are a teenager, or you have the demonstrated mentality of one. Noted.

With all due respect you are the one acting more like a child, you’ve insulted me numerous times. So the hypocrisy is hilarious and actually speaks volumes about your character.

Yes. But this isn’t the regular game with the only added stipulation being that if you die at any point you lose a character permanently. Elixirs of cheat death are a hardcore-only item. This means that hardcore is specifically not the regular game but one life, it’s the regular game but with extra content to make it easier, and one life (I’m pretty sure the scrolls are also HC only)

You can also be pretty certain that the sorc cheat death was added specifically with hardcore in mind. People don’t generally run cheat deaths on softcore characters, it just doesn’t make much sense in most situations. Would you rather be protected from death a single time every X minutes or would you rather be more defensive permanently? The latter is almost always the better option

Ive stated observable facts. If you take those as insults its time to start some self reflection and improvement.

D3 was improved for it and it had 2 cheat deaths. Personally as HC player im glad they have it. Still plenty of ways to die and farming to sustain it at all times will be a survival challenge.

yes elixirs make no sense and cheat death should have 24-48h cooldowns minimum or just remove them

lmao the low key insult yet again…

Well I’ve stated a fact about what hardcore has universally been in games. And that’s MY opinion to why I don’t like the elixir but for some reason you just refuse to believe it’s my opinion because I mentioned youtubers earlier in the thread. Also the only reason I mentioned them was not cuz I was watching them but someone asked where people are saying this. So you’ve been wrong all along about me watching people lol

Ummm

Thats not an opinion, nor is it stated in a way that appears as such. Its written as a factual statement.

Words mean things. Use them better.

there is no hardcore get over it, u just use cheat death than log out easy, devs dont want u to play hardcore so just play soft

this is basically what I’ve said. Some people disagree immensely with me thou, I even have one stalker in the thread.

I just think it sucks we have a watered down version of hardcore cuz the game from what I’ve seen so far is pretty good.

I use them fine… you cherry pick quoted me and literally cut off my ‘factual statement’ to what the rest of what I said in that 2nd quote… what did I say directly after that. Typical you left that part out lmao

Yes I do agree the latter is generally the preferred of the two, but having the option for that one “cheat death” every now and then has its uses. When pusbing new content, like the capstone dungeons, where youre not entirely sure if youre up to snuff, or back in D3, trying to push a bit higher in GR, having that cheat death was a handy barometer in telling if you were not to that point yet.

i’ve seen multiple people say “d3 had it”. Yeah well that was a different game and was totally unbalanced, when you are doing bazillions of damage of course a cheat death mechanic in that game makes sense.

This is D4 thou, which should be an improvement in ALL aspects

its not watered down, its no hardcore when u can logout, the game is not made for hardcore
